Medelina's Restaurant

Great food, large portions. Clean and non greasy barbacoa. We came for Mexican brunch. Excellent coffee. And the service was great. Very large spacious interior. No outdoor dining, not needed in this valley climate.

First time visiting the restaurant. It wasn't busy and we were seated quickly. Our waitress was very friendly, took our drink orders and brought them to us along with a basket of warm dough items that were hollow in the middle. I'm not sure what they were. They were still warm and served with a spicy salsa and a warm refried bean dip. They were ok. I ordered Huevos a la Mexicana which were really tasty. I appreciated how small diced the veggies were. The refried beans were typical and ok. The fried potatoes were a bit of a let down though. They seemed like they'd been cooked and held for later and definitely weren't crispy. Their corn tortillas were top notch and house made. They also served a really GOOD salsa verde. Best I've ever had but it definitely had a bite and was very spicy. The price was a bit higher than most places here in the Valley. Service was good, our coffees were kept topped up. All in all it was a event restaurant. Very clean and tidy unlike many other restaurants here which are worn. We will be back.

We used to go to this place when it was Ricardos. We really liked Ricardos so we thought we would give the new owners s try. The food was just ok. It was just nothing special. Service was kind of slow but the waitress was very friendly and explained some of the changes that had been made.We will give it another try. Everybody can have a bad day. Hope it gets better.

The ambiance felt nice and fresh. It was very clean and well lit. The service was fast. When we walked in there was 4 tables busy and it got busy immediately after we walked in. The service was still great and fast. The tea tasted like Lipton powder mix. It was good but i know some like brewed tea. When we first arrived we were greeted and sat wherever we liked. We were served little round pieces of fried masa (like mini gorditas) with beans and salsa. They were dangerous because they were so good!

I had the pleasure to try this new location and I must say I had a great experience. The food was good and the waitress was attentive. The tortillas were homemade and the beans were chefs kiss. The ambiance was nice and quiet. This is a hidden gem so if you're in the area give it a try. And if they ask say big daddy sent you!! I will definitely be back.

Food was Great with very good serving the sauce needed some work and was quickly addressed with one that was perfect in get the Great Flavor from our ordered breakfast. Service was also Great you will not be disappointed and of course the place was very clean and peaceful that you can have a nice conversation with your GroupDefinitely going back to have a Lunch

I've been there several times for breakfast. Food has always been good. Reasonably priced.

Well we learned our lesson. Store bought tortillas, salsa comes from a bottle, their tea is old and has no flavor, the lady running the place looks to be a nervous wreck, service is incredibly slow and forgetful. We waited over an hour for a few breakfast tacos, they had no salsa and 3.50 for dark colored water (tea)?! Our food was fresh and warm that was the saving grace, no flavor but at least it was a warm meal.

The food was delicious and the service was great. Staff stopped by to ask how everything was and were so sweet and helpful. The place is also very clean. I do want to clarify that it is open on Sundays because Apple Maps said it wasn't. I got the caldo tlalpeno and my boyfriend got the machacado with a side of pancakes. All great. They also had some really good chicken salads. It's a great little hidden gem.
