Was to buy a Cx5 at dealership today. Was promised as late as 8 pm the night before that the car I wanted was available and would be pulled to front of store before my appt time. The car wasn't there nor could the sales staff locate car. Poor communication between team members. Left without a car.

We had a great experience at the new Mazda dealership in Corpus. That had a awesome selection of vehicles to choose from and the sales process was fast and easy. The finance went smooth and quick. They even scheduled my first oil change. We would definitely recommend to family and friends.

I took in my car to get an oil change by them and was met by Treyvon who took great care of me from the start! He got everything done for me and all I needed to was drop my keys off with him, sign for the oil change, and wait. They got it done fast and efficiently and gave me a water while I was waiting! Best way to get something serviced is to schedule an appointment with them and ask for Treyvon!This is the same place where I bought my car which has never had any problems. If you're looking for a place to get a luxury style car with an affordable price then CC Mazda is the best place to go!

Although my buying experience was excellent and I was able to purchase a car I absolutely love, the maintenance experience was horrible to say the least. I took my vehicle in for it's very first oil change at just over 5000 miles. While waiting for the services to be completed, the gentleman from the front desk brought me my air filter and stated the mechanic recommended replacement. Well, what do I know... I am just a woman. Which is what I think their mentality at this location is. He quoted me the price of the filter which I calculated after taxes and such I would pay around $40. I went to check out and had to pay over $70!! He failed to include the labor fee in his quote! Furthermore, and more disturbing, I was once again approached by the front personnel while waiting for completion of my services who stated the mechanic recommended a brake fluid flush at $179 (I am sure before labor fees)! With only 5000 on the vehicle! I refused this service and called Firestone to inquire of their recommendations and explain my situation. I then took my vehicle to Firestone on Everhart who promptly did a strip test on my brake fluid and assessed my used air filter. NEITHER needed replacing. Not sure how they try to cheat others, but they sure cheated me! Live and learn. I paid for the maintenance plan when I purchased my car, but after this experience I am VERY leery of continuing to use it! DO NOT USE MAZDA SERVICE DEPARTMENT! Especially if you are a woman!! Firestone was awesome, by the way! Pictures of the front and back of my air filter, as well as the strip test for my brake fluid are included in this review!

I am writing about a bad experience I had with the service department at Mazda of Corpus Christi. In February, I took my CX5 for a brake check / inspection. The recommendation was new brake pads, which was done. While driving back home (I don't live in the CC area) we noticed odd noises from the brakes. High pitched squealing in reverse and a groaning noise in drive. I was hoping these would clear upThey did not. I finally took the car into my local Mazda dealer. They showed me video of the incorrectly installed pads that were also not OEM.So I essentially had to get new pads that were OEM and now new rotors as well. I called Mazda of Corpus to get a refund on the original brake job. Which I basically had to get re-done. The short version is that they would not offer a refund or relief.They claimed I did not need to get new pads since these were new. The Mazda guy up here said they weren't OEM so I did need new ones. They claimed that too much time had passed. It was 4 months.Remember there is video of the incorrectly installed pads as well. So I'll let you decide for yourself. I think I should have gotten a refund for work that I had to get re-done because of parts and workmanship. They would not help. If you own a Mazda I would recommend going somewhere else.
