Maven’s Inn & Grill

Great food, beer, and staff. So glad our friends told us about this place, it's a perfect stop if you're near the lake.

Conveniently tucked in a little bed-and-breakfast retreat, has a wonderful bar sitting with live music went there and picked up a steak and potato dinner and brought back home. Great service wonderful smoky flavor on the steak.

Great food and drinks. Best chicken fried steak ever. And try the jalitos. They hav a breakfast shot that is fun. And a great outdoors with music. Great locals bar.

The food was great, ambiance was nice and we'd love to come back for a band! Service though, our waitress was trying her best, I think her name was Kassie. She was all over the place trying to get people what they needed. There was definitely not enough staff.

First visit to this cool place in Canyon Lake. Don't base your opinion on the outside look. Beautiful inside! We all had the Grilled Chicken Salad. We all loved it!! I had the lemon vinaigrette which I think added so much flavor without being overpowering. Will definitely be back for more!!

Good food the smash burger is to die for!Great people always there to put a smile on your face and a drink in your hand! Amazing atmosphere love going all the time.

Maven's was an excellent surprise. The experience was top notch from the staff, to the food and to the drinks. I would highly recommend and can not wait to go back.

This place is spectacular, it has an interior dining room with a small platform but it is somewhat small. On the other hand, the patio is huge, it has an area with indoor tables, another completely open area, additionally they have chairs on the grass, with an outdoor platform for live music, as well as a children's play area. tremendous place. April was our waitress, and she treated us excellently, when she served us the food, Chris the General Manager helped her, but he didn't speak to us, I could count about four times that he walked closer to us but don't said Hi, no an introduction or a greeting, really nothing at all. I enjoyed the appetizzers, they were very good. My wife loved the Chicken Salad Sandwich. On the other hand, my meat was overcooked on the outside in some areas, this unique burnt flavor was perceived, I am a lover of medium well meat but inside my meat was too red, it could be more of a medium rare than a medium well. Mushrooms soup, well, a Mushrooms soup...Remember this was my experience and my plate...

We love Maven's. Today, we had friends visiting from Wisconsin and the six of us had lunch on their spacious patio. Our server, April, was excellent and very attentive. The food as great, as always. Our friends were impressed.

We recently stayed at Maven's and enjoyed all it had to offer. The Inn was clean and accommodating. The grill was a solid experience, the food quality was great, the quantity was nice, and the price was in line making Maven's Grill an excellent value.The "themed" evenings are fun in the Grill as we really got a kick out of Tuesday bingo...we hadn't played in years, it was fun and took us away from our devices, definitely a "win"Really a great experience. I will definitely stay here and dine here again, and I recommend you do the same.
