PLEASE GET A SECOND OPINION This company quoted us more than double on both a part and a new system. Both quotes were separate and both were more than double other quotes. The new company we went with said Matthew's has a history of trying to rip people off. Please don't go with them, and if you do, make sure you get two quotes. But put frankly, this is not a company worth supporting.

We had a plumbing inspection done in our home this morning. Daniel, our technician, did a wonderful job. He replaced a filter in a shower head, and replaced some corroded connections in our plumbing under the kitchen sink. Daniel was professional, and gave estimates before doing the work. He also left several estimates for replacing our hot water heater, which we plan to do in the near future. So glad we have a contract with CCAC to have our plumbing, central air and heat, and electrical needs evaluated on a yearly basis.

I just took advantage of their preventive maintenance service on two AC units in my home . The Tech. that came over was prompt, nice and very professional. Why the low score? I was told the I was going to need to replace the capacitor that was going bad. I was quoted $280 plus tax. Upon checking this is a $15 capacitor and required not one minute more of labor to replace it rather than put the old one back in. In a time of crazy inflation, this kind of overcharging does not speak well for what is supposed to be a local, concerned service company. All companies deserve to make a fair profit. Charging $280 for a $15 dollar part is not fair. Shop around.

Ben and Christian did the best install experience I ever had! They were on time, explained everything they were going to do, went over the benefits of the new systems and made sure I knew the ins and outs of operating a new system using my Google nest App. They also left the work area spotless and cleaned everything to the best of their ability. Doing work in this heat with a great attitude is priceless in today's current environment of rude workers.

I wasn't going to write a review but since y'all solicited one from me- here you go: I pay $15 a month for minimum one year. That's $180 a year and includes an AC tune up. The guy came. He was nice and professional. It takes hours. He ends with all the numbers he's pulled and calculated while observing our unit. Tells me they don't carry the refrigerant my unit takes so he couldn't add any. He tells me my unit is too old to repair if it breaks down. (We've had it repaired recently by a family friend AC guy). Then tells me about all the brand new systems they sell which START at $20,000. Hahahaha! This "tuneup" took several hours and what am I supposed to do with all the numbers he gave me? Put them in my diary?!? There's nothing they do about them, what was the point except to proposition a new unit starting at $20,000. What a joke.

Just wanted to update - our new AC has been wonderful. No issues whatsoever. Matthew's also came out to do a free inspection about a week ago. Great company!

Matthews CCAC was a great company to work with, and in particular, Romeo Garza, and JR. Both of these men, knew what they were to do, got with the job, got it done efficiently, and perfectly. They finished the work in record time, as far as I am concerned. They were very skilled, and were always prompt , and on the job, ready to work, with a smile. They explained the procedures they were performing with me, so never was I left in the dark about what they were doing or going to do. It was unfortunate, that I had bought a Generac from another local air conditioning company who claimed to be certified Generac dealers, who offered the same turn key procedure by you pay for but they provide the plumber and electricians to complete the process of Generac Installation. The other company was very dishonest, did not place the Generac where it had the proper clearances etc... which is something they should have known in order to be certified Generac dealers, and they did not pull permits with the city to perform electrical procedures etc.. I ended up having a real mess at my house and no generator hooked up from early July to sometime in early November when CCAC took over. I had to hire CCAC, because they gave the best estimate, and they saved me quite a bit of money, as opposed to some other companies who provided estimates. JR used his good thinking skills to help position the Generac in a different spot, which was much more economical for me, as well as making it easier to maintenance when the time comes. I am so happy about that. Romeo, had told me about the plumbing aspect of what the other company had done, and told me about how he had to go and do everything over again to correct what the previous company did. I know the job was done right this time, and these guys stayed late many days just making sure all of this work was done and done right. I may have had to pay for the Generac installation twice, which was costly, but it was definitely worth it to know it was a job done right and a job well done. I will always be thankful to CCAC and JR and Romeo in particular for saving my life, my pocketbook, and my sanity, as well as my electricity even if the power does go out where I live. Great Job CCAC and Romeo and JRONE MORE THING TO ADD: This morning, 2-21-25, I had Justin from CCAC come out to check on a wire that had come loose from somewhere. This man was very kind and had a wonderful attitude for someone who had to brave this wind and such cold temperatures to come out and secure a hanging wire, so early in the morning. I am sure this man is the type of employee this company also values. He called first, was also prompt, and gave service with a smile. CCAC is my go to company from now on when I have any concerns with a/c, heating, plumbing, etc... they are always on the job and have good people in the office to help as well.

Omar Rodriguez with Mathews CCAC came out today and replace my living outlet. He was very kind and helpful. I called today and explained to them that I had my 3 restroom outlet not working and my ceiling fan switch was not working. They made sure that someone would come out and have them fix. Omar assure me that they would get fix, was very helpful to show me why the 3 outlet were not working. Guide me through and show me if this happens where the problem was for the outlets to get switch back on or I can also call them and they can come out to fix it. Thank you, Juan for sending Omar to have this fix. I appreciate the help at time like this and get my outlets back working. Luci S.

Had them come in and replace AC spent $15000 for two units. Needless to say, it has been nothing but a nightmare. They have come out and had to fix their units five times in one year and they nickle and dime you for everything. I have easily spent an extra $2000 on parts that aren't included on warranty. The sales guy was the biggest swindler ever do not trust him. Empty promises. I implore you please do not use them. Anyone would be better
