Just ordered their green enchiladas for lunch! Hot dang, these are delicious. The best I've had in this area. I will be ordering them again. Thank you, Mary!

Smells hood right into the door!What a nice place w clean well serviced tables. This is a real joint!Shiner is so lucky to have this gem of a joint breakfast lunch and dinner Good drinks snd great food here. Good parking, clean tables and floors and no trash or grease in the parking lot like other places in town. So nice to see a true restaurant operator still around who takes pride in their products and staff. Rosa was so sweet and professional while attending to our experience

One star is Raving too much for review. Breakfast is the easiest to make and they still screwed up our plates ×2. We ordered huevos Ranchersos with over easy eggs, they were not so Ranchero. One plate was totally wrong, no ranchero sauce on the eggs and eggs were over cooked and cold, bacon,1 slice, cold and stale. The second plate was half wrong, scrambled eggs, cold beans, but they put 2 slices of sausage, and that is the only thing that was good. Now, im picky about flour tortillas, but these looked like stale thick dry tortilla. No bueno. Service was horrible, couldn't get drinks correct, always looking for server for refills. Don't know name of server. Will not go back..

Worst food and service I've had anywhere in a very long time. I'm not the complaining type but this was bad enough that I feel it's worth taking the time to warn anyone else planning on going here.Watery Queso - fajita beef was 100% gristle and fat - tortillas were definitely old/crumbly/gross Servers never checked in, Had to call them over to refill chips/drinks/deliver the Queso we ordered from where they were all hanging out together behind the bar.Was so bad it was a super strange experience Some guy came in after us - maybe the owner??? Anyway the staff flocked to take care of him, pic attached They had to walk past our table with empty chips, empty drinks to get to him.If I had to say something nice I guess..... it's clean inside???

Fantastic place to eat!Best in Shiner says Shiner Bob. Fresh foods, good drinks, clean and lovely place to take your family or dates. I'll be eating here almost daily. Very clean bathrooms. Great happy service from the amazing Mary and Rosa.

I drove to Shiner for their city wide garage sales. Although the sales were disappointing, Mary's was not great food & great service what more could I ask for oh right the margarita was great as well

This place is brand new & still getting the kinks out, but we've gotten wonderful food there. The Carne Guisada was perfect - tender chunks of meat in a flavorful sauce. The guacamole was outstanding - clearly made fresh. Also the 'Street Tacos' plate - moist & delicious with homemade tortillas, just like you get on the streets of Mexico. But my favorite thing so far was the Mexican-style Shrimp Cocktail. I've ordered this a lot, all over Mexico. In my view, it's hard to get right - good shrimp, not overcooked, in a tomato sauce with onions, chiles, cilantro, etc. Many places make the sauce too sweet, or too bland, or too spicy. It was just perfect. I ordered it, sat there & ate it. And got another 'to go'!

Just tried them for the first time. Service was bad. Couldn't even get a refill on our water that they charged us for! My wife's burger had a soggy bun . My crispy tacos had zero flavor. No seasoning in the hamburger meat is my guess. They're over priced as well! Their local competition is a much better value. Plus they don't charge for a glass of water!
