The building is unassuming and the casual "mariscos" atmosphere is typical for these type of restaurants in Laredo, but the food is surprisingly very good! My pescado a Las brazas (which was not made over brazas but in an oven) was tender, plentiful, and covered in a delicious alfredo/Cajun style sauce. The soft yellowish rice was soft and soaked up the sauce nicely and the butter thick piece of bread was a nice compliment to the meal. The salad on the plate was watery and not served with dressing, only tarter sauce.Visually the plate was a hot mess, but flavor wise, it's something I would order again. My wife's coconut Shrimp was over cooked (blackened) and rubbery, but the flavor was there. The real low lights of the visit were the non-existent service from the mesera and the terrible conditions of the bathroom (looks on going and not recent) The server brought drinks once and dropped off the food, but never checked on us, refilled our drinks, or asked if anything else was needed.Overall, order the food "To-Go" and enjoy it at home.

First time here. Food is good. Similar to most Mexican seafood restaurants in Laredo. The staff was very friendly and greeted everyone coming and going. My waitress, Briana was extremely nice and helpful. Great service!

This restaurant is a typical Mexican Seafood restaurant with simple furnishings, piped-in traditional Mexican music and a soccer game playing on a TV on the sidewall. I ordered agua fresca de pepino (cucumber lemonade), and they brought it to me with a side of thin tostadas, warm green salsa, garlic mayo, lime and a side of drinking consommé. For a starter I got the shrimp ceviche with tostadas, and filet of tilapia a la Veracruz. Everything was very tasty! I loved the ceviche which had mango in it! Also, the agua fresca came in a huge glass, much more than I could drink during a meal so I got a to-go container for that in addition to my more-than-enough meal.
