Mariscos El Pescador

I love this food it's so good people should try this restaurant. I highly recommend you give it a try. The service is outstanding

This has been one of my very places since I lived in Laredo. Every time I go home I have to come here cause I love their fried seafood platter it is amazing. You also have to have their Sherman cocktail it is to die for. They have remodeled and it's so cool inside now they have live music on the weekends totally worth going.

I loved the Solo Platter until now. It used to include delicious pieces of perfectly cooked fish that has now been replaced with SURIMI. Surimi?? Really?! Whhhhy?!

This evening I utilized the Door Dash app on my pocket rocket to order up some grub. While not being completely sure what I was hungry for I quickly realized that this place could cover both of my favorites at one time, Mexican and Seafood. I did have some concerns with the mixed reviews on this social media platform as well as the Facebook reviews. While using the app and going through there menu I requested Guacamole and chips, the shrimp quesadillas with grilled onions cheese and shrimp only, the shrimp ceviche and a small shrimp cocktail. It was 34 minutes from order to arrival of my food. It certainly looked like I was ordering for a party with the multiple food containers and cups not to mention the bag that was filled with limes, packs of hot sauce and crackers as well as a half dozen sets of utensils and napkins. They must have thought I was having a party as well. Overall I really only have one complaint but back to that in a minute. I really did over do it with this order and the packaging as well as the presentation upon open my boxes was satisfactory to me. The shrimp appeared fresh it wasn't over cooked, the small shrimp cocktail was quite tasty and gosh there must have been a dozen smaller shrimp in the bottom of the cup. The ceviche was crisp but lacked the kick I am used to, the guacamole was creamy and not bland with plentiful chips and pico as well. Now for my complaint, when I order my food whatever it may be I'm am always specific as to how I would like it prepared! The only special consideration that I requested was the quesadillas contain shrimp,cheese and grilled onions only. What I got was quesadillas with tomatoes cilantro and cheese, the grilled onions that I requested was not in the quesadilla as I requested but on the side in a separate container however they were plentiful and cooked well I ate them anyways! I give them 4 stars only because the lack of concern for my request. All in all still a good meal with generous portions great flavor and great packaging to ensure the presentation upon opening. So if you are in the area and hunting Mexican and or seafood y'all come by and give them a try hopefully you get the same great serve and value that did.

So today I was craving some seafood so I stopped by Marisco's El Pescador. I really like this place cause they have so many different selections to pick from. Today I was craving fried fish with coconut shrimp with rice and steam veggies. Very tasty and I know I will be back to try something different.

We stopped at Mariscos el Pescador hoping for some seafood and traditional Mexican food and were not disappointed! The wait staff, all Spanish speaking but using a little English, were very attentive and extremely friendly. We ordered two things and shared, the shrimp tostadas and the house specialty platter with steak, enchiladas, and shrimp quesadilla. The tostadas were hands down the best, with fresh cilantro and pico and huge chunks of yummy avocado on top.I'd come back to this place any day and in fact really liked sitting on the covered patio outside to enjoy our meal.

My brother and I had a nice dinner here. The place is huge, and very modern and upscale as not too many in Laredo on my that side if town. My first visit and his 3rd. He decided on the Large Red Snapper a la tabasquena , sauce with more seafood on top. He loved it and said big enough for 3 meals( I agree) I ordered the Shrimp Originales which was bacon wrapped shrimp and entree came with 2 sides. I asked if I could substitute one side for salad? Waitress said no problem l. She was friendly and checked on us, however the kitchen was slooow. It took 45 -50 tinge tour meals, hence the 4 stars. We will be back and you should definitely try out! Be patient it's worth it. Oh great dessert too, brought to table we chose 2 chocolate brownies (3) with ice cream and I chocolate cheesecake with nuts and chocolate drizzled ( sorry no pics on those, forgot) Go enjoy!

My husband and I went for a club meeting. Our food took 1 hour from time of ordering. I had the fajita tacos which finally came but cold and without avocado which took 30 more minutes to get. The boracho beans were so salty they were inedible without putting the rice in them to cut some of the salt. My husband ordered the burger with fries which were both cold. Almost everyone in the group complained about their food. No looking to go back there.

I just left and I had asked my grandma to get me a new drink because mine had a bug in it. The waiter took my cup and never came back. When he did I saw that my to go cup was half filled and had ice to it. All he did was take out the bug that in there and put it in a to go one. He also got my order wrong and never brought me my side.
