Mariscos El 7 Mares

Este lugar es el mejor lugar para mariscos en el Valle. Los mariscos son frescos y las porciones son de buen tamaño por el precio. Tienen especiales en la hora de lonche y su consomé esta lleno de trozos de pescado y camarones. Eso si, cuidado con la salsita de habanero que esa sí que pica. El servicio siempre ha sido excelente y si tienes suerte hasta hay mariachi en los fines de semana. Así que si te gustan los mariscos, ven y disfruta de un cóctel de camarones o unos filetes de pescado. No te vas a arrepentir. Y no te olvides de probar su limonada con pepino! Posdata: El domingo pasado mis padres fueron a disfrutar de unos especiales de lonche. Mi mamá, como siempre, no se acabó los 3 filetes que vienen con la orden pues se llenó con el caldo. Pidió una cajita para llevárselos pero se le olvidó llevársela y la dejó sobre la mesa. En rumbo a casa se dieron cuenta y regresaron al restaurante. Mi papá se bajó a preguntar por la caja y la mesera le informó que la acababa de tirar a la basura. Entendemos que no pueden guardar comida por horas, pero ellos regresaron en cuanto se dieron cuenta en el camino a casa (tampoco vivimos lejos de allí). Solamente lo incluyó como una sugerencia que por favor esperen un poquito antes de botar a la basura un contenedor para llevar por si el cliente regresa por la comida que ya pagó. Gracias.

This is a 5 star place. Service was great! They start you off with complimentary chips, salsa, crackers, a sample of ceviche and a sample of fish Caldo. Place was very clean food was great.

Excellent restaurant. Bedt seafood in this area for sure.The menu is in spanish but waitresses speak english.Ceviche was perfectly made. The shrimp cocktail had the best sauce ever. I ordered medium and it had a lot of huge shrimp.My fish tacos were superb.Just fish and crispy tortilla!!!But so delicious.Highly recommend.

Great value for the money and the flavor is ideal. The lunch specials are delicious.

If you love seafood GO to Mariscos Mares!! I love seafood and couldn't wait to check out this family owned business with an average Yelp 5 star status. Mariscos Mares didn't disappoint in the slightest with fresh flavors, generous portions, attentive, super friendly service and a menu in Spanish/English.Top seven highlights here is the amazing food, affordable prices, fast service, the restaurant can handle large groups, offers daily lunch specials, coupons available online and live music on Sundays. What else do you need?!The majority of the fish can be grilled or fried and then you select from 5 different styles to have your Filets prepared (try A la Diabla Style). If Whole Fish is your thing then check out the Red Snapper or Whole Tilapia. The Octopus Entrée is new for me but I'm told traditionally cooked in either Garlic Butter or Garlic and Guajillo Chili. I have trouble eating whole fish or Octopus that still looks like it was just caught so I had to pass.I was insanely craving diced and chunky Ceviche but preferred Aguachiles which is a spicy shrimp ceviche cooked in lime and chilies. Here you have 3 options of chili peppers (Red Jalapenos, Serrano Green or Habanero) for the Aguachiles. Love that!!!! Appetizer suggestions are the Shrimp or Ceviche Tostadas ($10.99/$9.99) come 3 to an order. Or go for the Shrimp, Oyster or Campechana (mixed seafood) Cocktail. The Cocktails have 3 size options, (small, medium or large) and the Medium size could easily be a meal in itself. Delightful!! Don't overlook the 4 types of Soups ($7.99 - $11.99) as an appetizer or entrée.I had a difficult decision deciding between the 3 sizes of Ceviche since I was craving (small $6.99, medium $10.99, and large $15.99). I ordered the medium but of course, my eyes were larger than my belly but excellent layers of flavors with the Shrimp, lime, onions and cilantro. I'm still thinking about the Aguachiles and wish I lived closer. I was so happy devouring as much Ceviche as possible.The Fish Soup steams your face in a marvelous fish and cilantro aroma. The large is affordable at $7.99. The broth was excellent with white flaky fish and garnished with avocado and cilantro. Highly recommend the Soups.The Fish Tacos ($7.99 for 4) were scrumptious, fresh with light and flaky Fish and perfectly cooked Shrimp. We split the order of 4 between 2 Fish and 2 Shrimp so we could sample 2 out of the 3 types of seafood available.So you ask what kind of seafood do they offer? We saw Shrimp, Oysters, Scallop Aquachile, Tilapia (Filets or Whole), Octopus, and Whole Red Snapper on the menu. The Tilapia and Red Snapper can be Fried or Grilled and you select from 5 different styles of preparation (try A la Diabla). Non-seafood folks have Beef or Chicken Fajitas or Cheeseburger options.Whether you go for a light lunch or dinner, I think you'll be glad you tried Mariscos El 7 Mares. I only wish I didn't live 1,400 miles away but on my list when I return to Mission. Go often for me.

We always eat at the facility, we have never tried the drive thru. This is our go to marisco restaurant.Food: We have tried the shrimp cocktail, ceviche & crab. It never disappoints. Ceviche is one of the best I have ever had locally.Service: they are quick to take your order, but they could work on coming by and refilling drinks.Micheladas: love them here, they do not use Clamato, which I dislike. These are very similar to the ones I have had in southern Mexico.Limondada: on point.You get free chips & salsa, fish soup, and starter ceviche.

Super disappointed and grossed out. I went threw the drive thru and got a sopa de Mariscos.. As I'm eating it I noticed a tiny hair. I take it out and move the soup around I noticed another bigger hair. And you can tell it's a man's hair! I called them to tell them and the lady who answered the phone tells me she's gonna pass me the manager, but as I'm waiting she picks up the phone again and tells me that the "Manager Manuel" which is supposedly the son of the owner. Said that there's nothing they can do since it was take out. Definitely do no recommend coming here!!

The fish soup was delicious. I tried the Governador plate a it also was great. I definitely plan on going back. Service was good and loved their lemonade.

Very good taco special, excellent service and local Mexican musicians playing good music.
