Short Review: If all contractors were as reliable, honest, professional, and skillful as Mammoth Foundation Repair (and Construction), homeownership would be so much more enjoyable! The good thing is that I found out they do all kinds of home improvements, so thankfully I now have a go-to contractor for most of what I need done!Detailed Review: When I first started looking for a company to repair our foundation, I was overwhelmed. It was a big expensive task I knew nothing about. My next-door neighbor was selling her house and had to fix the foundation before she could do so. She used Mammoth Foundation Repair (and Construction). I went over and asked for a business card, and the project manager at the time came over to my house to take a quick look at it. He said he could give me an estimate but we did not have the money at the time. Fast forward one year, and we were ready to begin seriously looking for a company to do the work. I got estimates from 4 companies. One company said they could not repair my foundation, only prevent it from getting worse. One company rushed through the estimate with me, and did not give good answers and explanations to my questions. Two companies had very good answers and explanations and seemed qualified to do the work, so I compared the estimates. One company was a little less expensive (not by much) and wanted to install 12 piers around 3 sides of my house to complete the repair, and the other company (Mammoth Foundation Repair and Construction) planned for 16 piers. The 16 piers would extend the entire length of our backyard, whereas the other company planned to only go halfway. Being as though we have cracks in our ceiling and separation between the walls and ceiling in that area of our house, we decided to go with Mammoth. When I called to make arrangements to begin the work, scheduling was easy and they said they could begin in one week. I was contacted a few days early and told they had a change in their schedule and they could begin work earlier if that worked for us. I said yes. They said they would start at 8:30 am. When workers began showing up at 8:15 am, I couldn't believe it! Every single contractor I have hired in the past shows up late, even if by 5 minutes (usually it's 30). The project manager arrived on time at 8:30 am. The workers had started working before the boss even arrived! They didn't need to be told what to do, they simply just did it. As a person who worked as a manager in the past, this is unheard of. I was impressed from the start. Almost as impressive is that it was the same project manager I had spoken to one year ago when he was working on my neighbor's house! Turnover in the construction industry is crazy, I couldn't believe they retained employees that long. Again, as a previous manager myself, what employee retention means is that you have satisfied employees. Satisfied employees do better work. The communication between myself, the owner, and the project manager was impressive. They kept me in the know the entire time. I was so impressed, I baked the workers muffins! It made me happy to see their sweet reactions. The whole process from start to finish took two complete days. Those guys really worked hard digging all those deep holes. I had a boxed in flower bed in my front yard that wraps around the house. It was put back exactly as it was before they started! They even watered down the dirt to compact it so my flower bed looks exactly the same as before they started. The space the piers now occupy left dirt to spare and they asked if there were any low spots in my yard I wanted filled or if I'd rather them haul it off. I had a pretty large low spot in the back corner of my backyard and two big tree roots that stuck out of the ground spanning several feet in my front yard. They put the extra dirt exactly where I asked. I never pay a contractor the second half of payment (half at start half at finish) before the work is done and I've inspected the work. I needed to take my daughter to speech therapy, and they were going to be finishing up when I was gone. The project manager said I could make the second half of the payment on Monday (it was Friday). I felt confident enough in them to pay the remainder of my amount due before they finished and before I inspected the work. I do not regret my decision! Everything from scheduling to completion was absolute perfection. If I would have told you my best-case scenario of how this would go beforehand, it would not have come close to how well things actually turned out. I know this is a long review, but I felt strongly about their work and professionalism. It's hard choosing a company to do such a big job. The consequences of bad work can be costly and stressful. This company deserved to have their work put on a platform where others could read about it. I will be posting my review anywhere I have an account to post it.

No one wants foundation issues. It's costly and it's not a pretty repair like a new roof or windows, but when it happens, it has to be fixed. Mammoth is the company to go with. They are honest and fair in pricing. They show up on time, clean their mess, and are very respectful. We had a small issue arise and they were prompt in taking responsibility and rectifying the situation. And most importantly, my house is no longer sinking! I would trust them with all of my home repairs.

When we purchased our home, we had them fix our peir and beam foundation. They ripped us off. The only did half the job or did it wrong. Either they are crooks or incompetent. And I only found out when I called another company to give me an estimate to level my house
