Majestic Oak Resort

This was a great place to live, in spite of the former management. I will be happy when I can go back. I understand new owner and management is great. I loved the neighbors and those visitors who came annually.

We've been going here for the past three years for our annual family/friends get together. This place is so nice. It has a great location. You're close to the beach and to the stores. The cabins are very nice and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. They've made some updates recently. They have codes instead of keys to get into the cabins. This came in handy since we sometimes split up into different groups. We don't have to find the person with the key. We look forward to coming back next year for more fun.

Ok - but for price I would have hoped for more- bed only so-so guess it is more of camp ground for rvs vs cabins for creature comfort - ac can not really keep up with Texas heat

Stayed here for two months last winter - great little park, well maintained, friendly people and nice clubhouse. Great pool, laundry, and pickleball court. Looking forward to a longer stay this winter.

We love it. Awesome people and great amenities. The lots are big and everything is paved. They have done an amazing job growing pretty grass. They also have added pavement in the curves on the road. We are coming back _Christmas and booking for next Feb and March.

Real nice place probably one of the better or best places we've stayed at and we travel 100% of the time with my company and WiFi is awesome park was completely full and had zero internet issues

We spent a month at this park. I have "stewed" on this for a couple of months. We made reservations almost a year in advance. We were assigned a spot with 3 covered sewer pits in our front area just outside our door. In spite of the covers, the sewer gas smell greeted us every morning & lasted most of the day for the entire month! It was difficult to eat at our picnic table or sit outside with friends! The front office girl was as friendly as a rattle snake! She informed my husband that we could move to another park if we needed to. Very hateful! We avoided the office the rest of our stay. It is one of the better located parks in the area. Most of the guests were friendly. The grounds were well cared for. Hurricane Harvey damaged most of the large oaks in the park but they had been trimmed accordingly. We don't swim but the pool area seemed to be nice. The hot tub was monopolized every afternoon by 2 loud & large retired military men. They drank & bragged about their life experiences getting louder & louder the more they drank! Their foul language kept many of us away, especially those with visiting children! I used the laundry facilities often & rarely were all the washers & dryers working! Some even had rust! I tried to contact the activities director prior to our arrival but was unable to do so. I was trying to offer a couple of programs, at no cost, for the entertainment of the other guests but that never materialized. Another guest told me the "old regulars who come yearly" already had their "clicks" & agenda in place & it would be hard to break into that! We were told the ownership/management had recently changed just prior to our arrival. I am hopeful the new owners will hire better employees for the front office & address some of the problems I have mentioned!

So I travel all over the country for work(pipeline). I found this place I stayed here for about 2 weeks and I got kicked out. Yet I wasn't even the one who was suppose to. What happen was is my neighbor and his buddy were having a good night I guess and I went over there cause I was invited for a grill out. So I walked over and we were having fun and I went back to my camper to sleep and the next thing I know the next day she knocked on my door and told me I had to leave and I ask why and she told me that I was disturbing quiet time. Even though all of my neighbors except him are only there except 1 time a month. She told me we were having an argument and kicking and throwing things and jumping on top of trucks and yelling and screaming. Which none of that ever happened. Yes we may have got a little loud with laughter but that's about it. Then I drove to get a tire on my truck replaced and came back and parked in front of my neighbors camper. And the lady at the front desk was watching us outside the office then she got her little golf cart with another employee and came over and told us we both had to leave now. And while I was talking to the ladies with my neighbor she told us "your kind isn't welcome here" and me and him are people from the west part of Texas we are both young and both work. So I guess snobs and people who arnt retired are welcome here. Majestic oaks resort or in other words snob city doesn't like when people interact with neighbors. This place will never get my business again and I'll be sure to tell every other pipeliner not to stay here.

Absolutely the most unprofessional management and staff. Do not stay here!! This property has been sold several times and clearly they do not manage properly.

The park is really nice so I would give that part of it a five star! Very clean and a great swimming pool! The staff was great also. Only reason for the three stars is that my rv got vandalized when we were gone for a few days. They really need security or fence the place in
