Nice, new alternative on the South end of Rockport. Just across the street from The Lighthouse Inn and Boiling Pot is a new-ish bar with a small menu and nice patio. There are two pool tables and a digital (AMI) jukebox, meaning that you can play music off an app instead of going to the machine. The food was good and atmosphere pleasant.WARNING: Like other Rockport bars, they allow smoking indoors. If you are looking for an alternative to the Sugar Shack, this could be your spot.

Oh LuLu, what can we say about you? You treated us well, welcomed us with open arms, and definitely left your mark on us. LolDefinitely a locals hangout, and all of them were amazing! We danced to the local artist Aj Cruz as he played and sang the night away. Our bartenders Megan and Courtney were attentive and busting their rears making sure everyone was taken care of! My husband and I made friends with a few of the locals and cannot wait to come back! Thank you Lulu for the great time! Only downfall if any is they smoke inside so don't wear clothes you don't want to smell like smoke!

I started off with a great lady bartender. She told me about a $700 and change jackpot you could win by chipping in a dollar and trying to win 5 pairs with the dice. It was a blast and I almost won. She is the only reason for the one star.It all went downhill when the male bartender with the mustache showed up. He charged me for an extra drink I never ordered and said there was an extra tax after a certain time so it went up a dollar for a basic vodka and diet coke. I have never paid that much for such a poorly mixed weak drink from my earlier one I had ordered. For all I know he pocketed all of it. I wonder how many people he is scamming. I will never return.Very low class compared to Rock Bottom.

Nice place with a HUGE patio. I suspect it is very fun during the season. The staff was helpful, but there was nothing special about the experience.

Visited Lulu for the first time last after being in Rockport for a few months and so glad we did. Definitely a locals hangout but we were still greated with friendliness. Nice and clean, with the cajun food truck out front now. Yum!! Wednesday happy hour is a super deal. Nice large deck in back for evening or less than mid summer days. Only issue is the ventilation could be improved since there are not any smoking limits.

Walked in and walked out. They allow smoking inside. It was a big smelly ash tray. Super sad for we are visiting and it was valentine's day and they had live music. We really wanted live music and fun evening out. But i would have been so sick.

We've lived in Rockport for several years and LuLu's has become our place to go for a few chill drinks. All of the bartenders are great and take care of everyone. Honestly some of the nicest people we've met in Rockport. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The crowd is older, but that's only part of the reason there's little to no drama there. The staff is diligent in keeping an eye out for people and situations that may be less than kosher and sticky situations are defused with little to no drama. The back deck is large and has it's own bar open on busy warm days. The systems are all connected so that you can order from inside or outside and it's all on the same tab. The live music is always good, especially Dean and Alonzo (sp?) Cruz. Rowdy's one man show on Wednesdays (i think) was absolutely surprising in the best way possible. The food from the food truck out front is bomb. So good. The best crawfish in Rockport-Fulton in my opinion and the bar food inside is the best version of standard bar fare. The owner is supportive of other small businesses in the area and takes care of her patrons. To sum up, it's a bar for grown folks who just want to have a good time with no drama and the drinks are well made and cheap, especially for a tourist town bar.

Too smokey to sit inside. Too loud to sit outside and hear yourself think, let alone have a conversation.

We stayed in an awesome cottage up the street in Fulton over the Labor Day weekend. Lulus was a favorite stop on the bar crawl circuit. If you are looking for the "Planet Hollywood" vibe, keep moving but if strong drinks, an attentive bartender (he immediately knew our favorite drink the second night we visited), and if you want to hang out with locals, stop by Lulu's.

That's a no for me! Food was disgusting! We went there to celebrate Mother's Day weekend in Rockport and went there for our last meal. And oh boy! I was really disappointed in the food. Everything was dry, very bland tasting, floors and tables were dirty af! Sorry but Rockport needs better food. Scenery was too notch but didn't match the food!
