Food was very salty. I prefer the location in McAllen. This place was very busy and the attention was not as good as the one in McAllen. In this one we had to ask for many things that in McAllen is a protocol!

Meh. We visited the establishment because of a recommendation from Forkit. The food was ok. I had the grilled salmon. It came on a wooden platter with crab salad and white rice. The salmon was grilled nicely but was smothered with a red sauce that kind of ruined it. It would have been much better without the red sauce. The table-made molcajete salsa was a nice touch and very tasty. But what gives this review such a low score was the service. My husband never got his entree!! The waiter was so busy he did not even look our way. We had to flag him down to get his attention. I think the restaurant has at least twenty tables. From what I could tell he was the only person on the floor. The restaurant needs to figure out their staffing. Or close off a section to make it easier for the server.

This place was recommended to me by three different friends. I decided to take my dad in for an early Father's Day lunch. He and I love seafood. This place did not disappoint. We were both thoroughly impressed by the food, service, cleanliness and atmosphere. We ordered the ceviche mix, two different shrimp tacos (grilled and a la plancha), and a salmon plate. Everything we tasted left us with smiles on our faces. I'm so glad this place exists here in the valley and I hope it stands the test of time. The entire meal was worth the price and I can't wait to bring more friends and family in to taste this place. Server was also very nice and helpful. Thank you for a great experience.

30 dollar half dozen oysters, more sauce than actual oyster the size of the oyster was way too small for the "market price" . Everything was small and did not match the pictures they advertise online. Shrimp was way too overcooked chewy and just not good at all.

As soon as you walk in, you're overwhelmed with a smell. The stench is a mix between bathroom and mop that needs to be replaced. Staff is welcoming, place looks clean. It's cute, but the smell. Woof! The house salsa prepared at the table is a nice touch. It was pretty good for drinkable salsa - cause it's pure jugo de limón con cebolla y chile. I low key wanted to lick the molcajete. The little soup they also brought out was basically hot fish water. No tenía nada sabor. Just fish. I put a ton of lemon and salsa, and it still was just hot fish water. Not good. The menu is huge and overwhelming. We ordered tacos mixtos gobernador and the camarones momia zarandeados. At 6 bucks a pop, The tacos were small and super mid. Boring. Blah. Just plain. Presentation was sad too. The camarones momia, were basically bacon, it was thick cut, like way too much bacon. The shrimp inside was super chewy. It was really salty. The plate came with 2 small toasted French bread slices, rice and this weird pimento cheese salad. At least I think it was pimento cheese. It was kind of out of left field. For the price, I'd rather go to La Costa or El Chin Chin - which are hella better. Opinions are like BH's, everyone has one. So for me, it was a nope and will likely never return ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
