Food is so good!! Total mom and pop. Hole in the wall but very clean. Priced very well!

What brought me here were the 20+ five star reviews. This place was delicious. This little hole in the wall is worth the visit. I left I already planning what I'm going to order next time. The server left a good impression on us because she came and checked on us several times and was friendly.

We ordered the Machete Azteca, empanada, and Gordita. By far the Machete was the best! Corn tortilla holds all the fillings, great quality cheese and they were Not stingy with the avocado. The Gordita with Chicharon prensado was my second best. It was crunchy and very flavorful. The empanadas was good but my tinga de res filling was not great. The meat seemed rubbery and the sauce was lacking flavor. And the service was Great! For 3 drinks, 1 machete, 1 Gordita, and 2 empanadas we paid $39.

To expensive and not worth the plates we ordered. Will not go there again I do not recommend this place

This place is a gem in a corner of a small shopping plaza. The dining area was clean. So was the restroom. However, the restroom smells like backed up sewage. I ordered a combination 21" machete. It was served fairly quickly. The first impression was that it looked cool; the machete quesdilla was served on a wooden platform.The quesdilla was definitely scrumptious! It was loaded with cheese with mixed ingredients, super tasty. The salsa gas bits of mangos which added the flavors to it.The service was good too.Overall, it was a very fulfilling and delicious meal, I really enjoyed it. It gets a 4.6 out 5.

Service was excellent and food top notch. We'll be back. We're in Edinburg on vacation. Highly recommend.

Small restaurant, yet wonderful service AND fantastic Mexican food! They have a super HOT sauces served up with a 21" quesadilla!!! YES, YOU READ THAT CORRECTLY!I wish I had taken a pic of the entire one, but we were soooo hungry! I did include some pics! La Macheta (Not sure if it's spelled correctly.) was great! Service was great! Food menu is small but so worth it! Ambiance is casual and enjoyable.

I have been wanting to try this place out for a while and after hearing first hand how amazing it was, i had to go. The place is quaint, very clean. Service was great. The food was the main star. We ordered an empanada, a machete azteca, and a kids machete. Everything was top notch, salsas were amazing. Just go!

We decided to eat here because of the 5 star reviews and y'all were right! It's a hidden gem/'hole in the wall' but deserves every one of those 5 stars. It was delicious! Plus we love supporting family owned, small businesses!
