Huevos Divorciados YUMM
Fried shrimp plate. Small.
This is the side of the restaurant (perpendicular to the highway) and the parking is along this side.
This is the view upon entering.
If you decide you want to eat here, look for this wedged roof and this logo. (Look at the incredible sky that day.)
Taco loco
You can see that their hours span 3 meals, hence different menus.
This platter I had between lunch and dinner was good and filling. It was 3 items with rice and refried beans.
Here's a close-up of the platter. See that weird cheese (beyond) I was talking about?
The chips were okay and the salsa was marginal, but the soup or broth they brought out was good and appreciated.

My 10 year old ordered 2 fajita tacos. Our server recommended one. Now I see why. Everything is bigger in Texas.

Shrimp cocktail had way too much ketchup. Definitely needed more Clamato and a touch of spice. The best part were actually the chips. Super crispy and fresh. Waitress was very nice but somewhat inattentive. Probably wouldn't come back.

P A I N F U LIt pains me to even recall our brief encounter here. We ordered an appetizer & a side of French Fries as just a snack to tide us over till dinner. What a joke.To start with, there weren't many tables with customers, and sufficient staff was on the floor. We were greeted with scowls and crappy attitudes. Not very welcoming if you know what I mean. So after ordering, we got our mozzarella stick that were hot and tasty, but, a BIG But...... We were served an oval plate, not platter with about 10 french fries that didn't even cover the plate! Are you kidding me? Plus they were not even hot. We expected a huge heap of fries, most restaurants serve!! And I think it was $6.99! We were speechless. Never again.WHAT A J O K E !!!!!

For it being Saturday and 1:30pm I love that we were seated rather quickly! Looked clean but bathrooms needed a lock that worked. The food was decent, we had fried shrimp and it was tasty. The tartar sauce was too much Mayo more than anything. Fries didn't taste fresh but were alright for a last minute lunch spot. Our waiter was kind and patient, somewhat attentive. Idk if I would go again but if you're looking for something quick and decently priced for the island area, this will be your spot.

The fajitas are great! We came back a couple days later and ordered again for the entire family. Homemade flour tortillas, burrito size, are included with each order. Good refried beans too. This is the best mexican place in port isabel

When in this area, I was given the names of three restaurants on the Port Isabel side of the causeway/bridge. Los Cabos was one of them, along with Isabel and Manuel. They are not really a trifecta, though. Isabel and Manuel are breakfast and lunch places, while Los Cabos stays open until the early evening and one can have dinner there.Los Cabos is right on the main drag, just a little ways inland from tacky but fun(ny) Pirate's Cove. You might immediately like the name, thinking of places like Cabo San Lucas, to which I've never been but would like to see. However, I'm going to go with 3 stars on this one, though I would have wanted to give them 4 stars. I'm more okay with doing this because Manuel's is no longer operating, leaving Isabel's and Los Cabos as the "go to" Mexican eateries.Los Cabos has parking right in front in its off-street lot. The interior is spacious and clean. They had quite a bit of selection on the menu, of which there were several based on what you wanted to eat and when. I had a combination platter somewhere in mid-afternoon when it was not crowded.I liked most of what I ate and the portions were nicely sized. My only issue was with the cheese on some of the items. Who doesn't like cheese on their pastas, enchiladas, or salads, for example? Based on appearances, it looked good - like a cross between shredded cheese and crumbles. However, I can't say I like the way it tasted and would have preferred to have the items on my platter without it. But that's an easy fix.The service was not that upbeat. It was a little slow and they weren't that friendly - I'm talking both the person who did the hosting and the server. They need to ratchet that up a little bit, since the other places in Port Isabel have, or had, the art of customer service dialed. There is a little service charge for the use of plastic, but it's minor. (At least they accept credit cards.) The prices at Los Cabos are fair.

The server was very nice and helpful; didn't intrude on us or too pushy. The food was alright, not the best. The carne tasted like cheap store bought meat. The environment was horrible. Every other minute there would be a spider on our table and there were cockroaches on the walls (picture provided)

Service is awesome and so is the food. It is around a 40 minute drive from my husband and I but definitely worth the drive. The atmosphere is great and super friendly and very affordable. Will definitely be coming again.

This is something like our 6th time coming here. First since last year (2021). Since we last been here the prices rose just a little like .75 cents a item and still very affordable and worth the prices, which aren't very high for anything you get here. The breakfast tacos are massive still. Wait staff excellent. Drinks are very good tasting. They've updated the inside somewhat and looks more appealing, but I judge a place by the food, not the paint on the walls. Anyway you can't go wrong coming here. Excellent.. 10 STARS

This place was great! It was nice and slow when we went. Great service! The food was delicious as well. Nice open seating, not worried about being too close to others.

Don't take a chance on the fish, I had to drown it in sauce for some flavor. Stick with the shrimp. Service is typical, seems like a place to get comfortable with family without having to get all fancy, but a bit cold to inside to be in shorts and sandals post beach swim.
