I really enjoyed the pollo al carbon. Perfectly done grilled chicken with just the right amount of seasoning. The skin was succulent. And it's a lot of food for the money too. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because the salsa lacked spice. Otherwise, it was a very fulfilling meal.

Hadn't been here in a minute. While the restaurant looked packed on the outside it is big and roomy on the inside. Today I wanted a Mexican plate and my wife had the chicken flautas. This was just the right portion for how I was feeling consisting of be crispy taco with be chalupa and be cheese enchilada with a side of rice and your choice of refried or charro beans I opted for the refried. Everything tasted fresh but minimalistic most places load the tacos and chalup with lettuce tomatoes and sour cream and cheese although they had a good fresh taste they were good enough to put my craving at ease. The rice was perfectly cooked and made just the way I like it with the taste of garlic and cumin combing through perfectly. The only thing that lacked was the service we not saw our waiter 2 times at the. Set and at the end we had to rely b passing waitresses to get our tea refilled overall good food okay service I would come back again to try other things and n tge menu and see if this was a one time thing with the service.

Go big or go home! Food portions were big but they say everything is bigger in Texas. Felt like we couldn't go wrong with anything we ordered and I was right. The botana was good and plentiful!! We came just after lunch time and was told the wait would be 45 minutes. Lucky for us, we waited less than 10 minutes. Score!

Probably the worst food, margarita and service that I have had during my 4 day stay in McAllen. Even sitting at the bar for dinner it took 20 minutes for my order to be taken and my food came out before the bartender made the margarita I ordered. The margarita on the rocks was so incredibly sweet it was undrinkable. Certainly not how a margarita should be made. I ordered the steak and enchiladas. The enchiladas were lukewarm and the cheese inside was not even melted. The steak was just beef not flor or seasoning. I left the steak on my plate with only two bites out of it and left my margarita 75% full before paying and leaving. I would avoid this place at all cost, there are too many better option in the area. The positive for this review is that their tortillas are great and I like their chips but the salsa was too watered down.

Food here is always great and filling. Perfect for a family setting even a big group seeing. The servers are always very attentive and quick. The ambience of this restaurant is perfect the music is always playing and it definitely makes you want to get up n dance. Accessibility wise parking, they definitely have several handicap parking spots the ramp on the side walk very well kept. Inside the building tables are a little short for my powered wheelchair that can be difficult but if you're in a manual chair there shouldn't be any issues. Overall definitely recommend especially to take your family. Their flan is my favorite dessert.

This was a difficult review. Our waiter was great. Friendly and efficient. Our food came out quickly. Prices were reasonable. Less than $10 for cheese enchiladas. Margarita was alright. But the flavors missed the mark. I felt like everything was bland. Even the salsa had no heat. I most likely won't return here if I'm in the area.

Great place in McAllen. I had the side rib platter and it did not disappoint!! Everything was fresh from the freshly grilled ribs to the baked potato! Ribs were cooked perfectly, juicy tender and full of flavor. Rice, beans, guacamole were all excellent. Portions were huge and the entire dinner was a great value!!! I highly recommend trying this local McAllen grilled specialty spot!!!!

We were there for a graduation celebration, party of 22. This restaurant appears to be very experienced in large parties. We were seated with tables ready with chips and salsa, ordered 4 botanas for the tables and everyone had rave reviews for the quality of food. Fajita meat was tender and well seasoned, Tortillas were delicious, hot and fresh!! We had zero wait time from ordering drinks to getting our food. I was extremely impressed with this restaurant being apart of such a big party! On a busy Sunday morning they didn't skip a beat!! I highly recommend this Place!

We ordered a fajita botany for 32.99. Added a person for 16.99 more. The portion size was a joke. Small plate with a few fajitas. Big ripoff...52 bucks...never again. I'm staying with los mismos.

Mi visita fue este pasado sabado 6/22/2024 , la atencion muy buena , nuestro mesero excelente, la comida tambien, voy por lo regular una vez cada mes ahi , pero ya habia notado un olor algo fuerte las veces pasadas pero este sabado estaba peor , huele a humedad y suciedad , me imagino q es la alfombra que ya no dio para mas, no volveria a ir porque el olor es muy fuerte y no esta comodo comer asi, mi mas sincera recomendacion es que remuevan la alfombra , la comida y el servicio muy bueno.Gracias
