Lone Star Tavern

Nothing to write home about, but nothing to complain about either. I only pick up food so I have no opinion about the ambiance. If you like a small, friendly bar setting with food, this might be your place.

Food is over priced and not that good. Every time my husband and I have been there the bartenders are always distracted with other things then their customers.

A lot has changed with this establishment since it has opened, notably the menu. Some things have stayed the same, but there have been some additions since new management has taken over. Tonight I had what is Hands Down the BEST chicken fried steak I have ever had....Fresh Cut, tenderized, breaded, and seasoned to perfection Ribeye! Yeah, find another place that does that. And at a reasonable price.

Went there for chicken wraps, which are really good unfortunately they were not serving them that day because of brunch. There was a dog in the restaurant and the service was very slow and air conditioner was not going. Burger was good.

Service is incredibly slow. No longer has draft beer. Food prices fairly high. We won't go here again.

It's lots of fun here on karaoke nights! Love the hamburgers and cowboy bites. Restrooms are not always great.

This establishment is very neglected by the owner and management alike...the owner talks out of both sides of her mouth never standing on what she promised her staff .And the manager hires her family and allows them to embarrass the other staff by their lack of dignity and class. So in turn the few employees that strive to do a good job and bring business in are taken for granted and pushed aside for the slackers.

stopped in our way to Rockport. A little out of the way but totally worth it ! I had a cheeseburger that was legit delicious . old fashioned and just yummy. Fries were fresh cut and fried to perfection . my husband had the Cowboy burger and it looked amazing. He said "this makes you wonder why you would ever stop for fast food!" He also had fries and they reminded us of how our moms made fries . So we will come again a d recommend you give it a try!
