First time here and definitely not the last. A nice relaxing condo. Family friendly, this includes your fur baby. Love the atmosphere and the option of a beach or a pool. The room was very clean, spacious and modern. Love the option of being able to make a meal if I choose to... Can't wait till next time

We enjoyed our stay. Clean condo that is very nicely furnished. AC worked fabulous! Pool is large and very nice! Lounge chairs and shaded areas surround pool. Quick walk down boardwalk to beach access. Mosquitos were out (is the season). We had bug spray and good tip- febreeze. It repels them and smells good.

No house keeping so u have to carry trash out your self. Go to the office to ask for towels. The pool was warm and covered in mosquitoes. There's nothing they can do about that. Bring a ton of mosquito spray!! There was a fire the killed a whole sand dune. No elevator.Dog friendly was nice. The grills are nice to cook on. The boardwalk is nice to get to beach. I just expected more after reading the reviews. $300

Ok people let's start with the no factor...-. Put my luggage down and in a corner to charge my phone and a roach came out to greet me! I pulled back the bed sheets it's a hair. Longest thing I ever seen. I asked for additional sheets and bedding which was brought to me expeditiously. I still felt uncomfortable here after escaping my kids!

I've been wanting to take my family on a Texas coastal vacation for many years. An influencer I follow on Instagram posted about her stay at Lively Beach (I'm sure she was paid or comped) and I thought if it's good enough for her, it's good enough for my family. I do think it is a bit pricey, but I specifically wanted something close to the beach, newish, a pool and clean, which is what Lively Beach provides. Customer service was great, as we needed to go to the office daily for paper towels. The bedrooms could definitely use black out shades. Our room faced the pool and the light shining into our room overnight was very bright, so bring a sleep mask. I'm mostly disappointed that the rooms do not have a washing machine/dryer. It was challenging to find a place to dry our beach towels/bathing suits because they could blow over the balcony. We placed our shoes outside our front door and unfortunately my favorite Chacos (and a pair of flip flops) went missing, so don't be a fool like me and leave something out to be taken even though it's a gated community. All in all, I'm glad I chose Lively Beach over a place in Port Aransas or Cinnamon Shores. I'm just sad my Chacos were stolen.

We enjoyed staying in a central location - 15-20 minutes to Port A and to Corpus Christi. It's quite private and peaceful. The property is quite new so everything is maintained well. The pool is nice and the pool area is enjoyable to relax. The parking is close to each set of rooms so convenient. They have grills and outdoor seating. The boardwalk leads to the beach. The beach is public but less crowded than Port A. If you drive, make sure to buy your parking permit. That's why the boardwalk is nice to have too. There is no service - it's a condominium. But the rooms are equipped with a microwave and fridge, full set of plates/bowls, knives/forks, cups/mugs. They also have a coffee maker. The food in Mustang Island is more limited - a couple of fast food options and a nice coffee spot. 15m into CC, there's restaurants and a HEB/Walmart for groceries.

This was our second time staying here, and we were really looking forward to it. When we stayed last time, it was newly opened, and some of the units were still being constructed. We actually stayed in a until this time that was under construction the last time we were here. The word "disappointment" seems like an understatement this trip. The property has not been maintained as it should be (and it really shouldn't be showing such wear so soon despite traffic). We literally had black mold around the air return in our room. Their response was "we'll send maintenance to look at it and scrub it with some Clorox). Ummm, great, but if I have to point out something that obvious, what ELSE have you missed? The AC was dripping condensation in the fabric couch the entire time. Again, it is the coast, and it is humid. So, how about you out dehumidifiers in the room to manage that? We've stayed in multiple places in Key West which is arguably just as humid, and that is how they help manage the problems. Finally, the mosquitoes were OUT OF CONTROL. I'm not talking about a few here and there...I'm talking literal swarms of mosquitoes. The property needs to be conducting aggressive mosquito abatement, and that clearly isn't happening. My last review of Lively Beach was a glowing recommendation. We will not be staying here again. Strongly recommend things further down the road into Port A. There are some similarly priced, well maintained and newer options that would create a better experience.

Where to begin... The location is convenient to Snoopy's, Scoopy's and Doc's - basically everything just over the JFK Causeway and the highway to Port Aransas. It is also very quiet and peaceful on property. The pool is heated but to a perfect temperature so that it's still refreshing on a hot summer day and the boardwalk to the beach was an added bonus. The view from the rooftop deck was incredible - we had the best view of the lunar eclipse. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. Things to keep in mind before you book: there are only stairs to the upstairs rooms and the rooftop decks - no elevators. The big beautiful window in the room has a light filtering shade, not a blackout curtain so keep that in mind if you are sensitive to the morning sun. All that being said, we truly enjoyed our stay and we are already planning our next stay.

Let me start off by saying that Lively beach is one of a kind. My husband and I went for two days during the week because we wanted it to be less crowded. The reservation process went well however I don't know if I didn't read the fine print correctly but we were charged seven days prior one full nights room and then the next day another charge and then the rest of the balance was due the night before. I didn't mind that this happened I just wanted to be made aware somewhere prior to booking. I called several times and talk to somebody that was very nice and helpful but it took a while for them to get back to me because this information was not notated anywhere on the website. Like I said I had the money in my account but I'm just one of those people that don't like surprises - I just wanted to be made aware ahead of time that this was going to happen. The check in process is awesome and very Covid friendly and we did not have to talk to anybody or see anybody, someone texted us our room access code and the gate code hours before arrival and they even let us check in one hour early which was very niceI would say another downfall for us was I didn't realize that we were going to be placed on the third floor and let me tell you if you are not in shape - those stairs will kill you. My husband and I are both plus size so it was a bit of a challenge. We even thought about asking to change rooms but I should've inquired before ahead of time - now I will know for next time! The amenities were very lovely and I like the fact that there was a beach access right next to the property that you could drive your vehicle on if you didn't want to take the .boardwalkAnd that was another thing about the boardwalk it's not handicap accessible to get to. There are very steep stairs to get up at and it's a very long walk - so again if you have a hard time getting around I was suggest requesting a bottom floor unit (if that's even possible) and taking one of the golf carts to the beach or driving your own car to the beach. Will I be visiting Lively beach again? You bet!!
