Little Bay Marine Boat Rentals

We had the absolute best day renting the deck boat from Little Bay Marine! From the very first moment we met Donna and Ronnie, they felt like family we have known for years. They were so attentive to our two boys, and the boat is pristine and so much fun on the water. If you're wanting to fish, cruise, lounge or sight see - or better yet, all of the above, the deck boat is a great option, especially for families or for little ones who might be a little timid on a boat. It was my son's birthday, and when we returned with the boat, Donna was waiting and singing him happy birthday. They were also so genuinely kind and excited when my son told them about his 50 pound black drum catch on his last cast. He especially will remember our day on the water forever. Don't hesitate to rent here, you'll have the best time!

I rented a 22' Mowdy with bimini for two days last week. The boat was no-frills - no live well, no depth finder, not even a working gas gauge or cooler, but it was reliable, fairly fast (I measured 36mph top speed on my GPS) and absolutely sea-worthy (which we tested in choppy waters on Aransas Bay). They make you sign an agreement that you won't take it into Copano Bay, Redfish Bay, Estes Flats, Allyn's Lake or anywhere similarly shallow. Though the marina claimed a draft of 3 feet when stationary, we were able to go into water less than 2 feet without hitting bottom. That said, the jackplates are not adjustable and I don't recommend taking them too shallow. If you plan on fishing flats - they don't have the boat for you. Or get close, anchor and wade the flats (which is what I did). The crew at Little Bay was kind enough to allow me to tie my marine GPS into the starting battery, which I found absolutely invaluable in getting around the bay, especially navigating the narrow channel in Allyn's Bight and around Mud Island. Gas tank is remarkable large, holding 42 gallons, and I measured consumption of around 3 miles/gallon meaning the tank was still half full when I returned it. Like any boat rental, it's not cheap - around $350 for 24 hours when you include gas and tax. But well worth it if you're looking for a reliable vessel to take you around the bay. The staff is friendly and professional; I would absolutely rent from them should I find myself in Rockport again.

The owners of this company were amazing! The boats are very nice and at an affordable price! my family had a blast and caught close to 20 fish in four hours. They were knowledgeable of the area and pointed us in the right direction! I would highly recommend to any fishing family looking for fantastic experience!

Ronnie and Donna are two of the nicest people my wife and I have ever met. We signed up for a full day charter and the morning of our charter the winds were very high. Rather than canceling over the phone we went to the dock and met Ronnie. We told them that we needed to cancel because our group would not have a very pleasurable trip as we had my wifes parents and several children going with us. Ronnie said he understood and it was no problem to get a full refund. He introduced us to Donna to get the charges reversed and she was as sweet as could be. They apologized for the rough weather. The boats were extremely well maintained and very clean. These are people you want to do business with. We will definitely rent with Little Bay next time we are in Rockport. Just a great couple.

Rented a center console for a guys' fishing trip Sep '23. Ronnie and his wife were awesome to work with and the boat was ready and waiting for us when we got there. Easy loading and access to the bay. 22-6 mowdy worked great for the 4 of us and it had recent repower Suzuki 4-stroke that ran great. Owners are very conscientious about their business and making sure people have a good experience. I would highly recommend using Little Bay if you're looking for a boat to rent. Ronnie even helped fillet out a couple trout when we got back so we didn't have to mess with it carrying the fish to the cleaning table. Super nice people would use them again for sure!
