Liquid Town No 2

Management is just rude for no reason. Lol. I just walk in there and they just come off as jerks who just want you out of there face. I went in like 3 different times to test theory and that's just who they are. Anytime I try to be friendly it's so awkward. This place is right by my apt but I'm just gonna make the 3 mile drive to specs like usual from now on

I came into town from Chicago visiting an old friend and we decided to get something for the night. Stopped in not knowing what exactly we wanted. As soon as we walked in we were immediately greeted by two clerks. After browsing the whiskey isle for a good while one of the guys asked us if we needed help decided on anything. (Wasn't pushy and he asked when we clearly looked indecisive). He then let us try sample of two different whiskey brand. Definitely a nice touch and something I wasn't expecting. Like I said, I'm from Chicago and we definitely don't get service like that. We kept browsing trying to decide (the samples didn't help because they were both good!). At one point, I asked if one particular brand was worth the $42 price and he gave an honest answer and said no. I thought that was great that he gave his honest and unbiased opinion and didn't take the opportunity to sell us something we wouldn't like. I'm glad this was my first visit in Corpus- made for an overall great trip down here.The people we knowledgable and had a great attitude. Definitely was impressed enough to write this up for them!

If a liquor store was managed by someone with OCD this is it. This store is military inspection clean with every bottle "up to and touching" facing forward perfectly. The staff is very friendly and 70's disco seems always to be playing in the background. So if you like your booze disciplined and your staff funky march your money maker here.

This is the best liquor store in town for sure. The staff is very knowledgeable and offer great recommendations every time we come in (which is regularly..). And they are absolutely not trying to sell top dollar or promotional products - they listen to and remember our preferences and make personalized suggestions. Bonus: prices are better than Spec's!
