Lin's Grand Buffet

I used to like coming here. But now? It's horrible now. Everything is fried and gross. Kids screaming and running around everywhere. Cold food. No labels on food. Gross. Not even the jello was good. Damn. This restaurant went downhill.

The staff at this location were not friendly and seemed like they didn't want to be at work or it was just the local hangout. I was not greeted upon arrival and my table was never cleared during my entire stay. After the drinks were poured on arrival I was never offered a second glass of juice to drink. This is completely different from the San Dario location. I have nothing but the utmost best things to say about the other location.The food at this location was cold and some of it stale. Although a few dishes like the chicken and broccoli and the jalapeño chicken had good flavor the rest of the dishes were dreadful.The restarting also need some renovations. This location appears to be breaking down and lacks the appeal the other location has. Although it is bigger inside than the other location I'd much enjoy thee other location.

Here's to my first review: first thing that we noticed is that the table was yet to be cleaned. In the first picture there are little specks of dust and food at the end of the tables. Of course, the dust was cleaned up beforehand but nonetheless, the speck of food left on the table was visible. There was also some meat left on the floor that had not been cleaned at all.Some, not all, of the plates had little cracks and chipped from the edges. The dishes have to be replaced since it's all old. Another thing was the nuggets. As a matter of fact, the reviews on the nuggets were true. We decided to taste test the nuggets and the inside was a tad bit on the cold side. Not exactly frozen, per say, but then again, no one wants to eat food that's cold. The teriyaki chicken wasn't cold but it definitely was burnt.The nuggets tasted like McDonald's chicken nuggets so perhaps they bought it from McDonald's and served to the public? The pizza tasted like it was cooked in the microwave too. Thought I was back in high school being served lunch again with how the pizza tasted. The food I did try was was broccoli and beef, broccoli and chicken, fries, chicken with shrimp and zucchini, and the rice. Those seemed to be okay in terms of the warmth of the food, of course.The waiter took his time but there should be waiters coming around every 5-10 minutes or so, considering that the place isn't packed at all. He didn't give us any attitude or anything though. The food was decent to say the least. I wouldn't put this buffet at a top 10 of good buffets in Laredo. Well, I wouldn't put ANY of the buffets in any top 10 good buffets in Laredo since none of them aren't THAT good. It was just okay. You could definitely find better buffets elsewhere and by elsewhere, I mean far away from Laredo.

Food is ok but the service was absolutely horrible . If i wanted a drink of water i would have better luck sticking my finger down the throat of the guest at the next table.... food was cold and as said ok Highlight of the meal was leaving and knowing that i won't be back...

Probably the worst buffet I've ever been to, extremely undercooked "steaks" and watered down steak sauce, food taste old.

The worst buffet I've been to. The food is cold and tastes old. Got some steamed broccoli and it tasted extremely bitter/sour and stung my mouth somehow? I panicked for a bit, but it subsided. Won't be surprised if I get food poisoning from this place. I spotted a woman dipping her own spoon into the ice cream tubs, tasting it, then using the same spoon to dip into another. WTH?! And I assume that their AC is down because they have a big air fan blowing close to the buffet pointing towards tables. This place is way overpriced for their gross, old food. Hope my taste buds aren't ruined after this.

A great variety of entrees to suits anyone hungry appetite thousands of combinations to make along with a Mongolian grill and a sushi bar that makes fresh made to order rolls. Always clean and wait staff a courteous. The food is a authentic Chinese food. Highly recommended.

Plastic utensils, cold food, not worth the 13$ buffet price for a few items. Visiting on business and would not return or recommend. Save your money

Not at all recommendable buffet. Food cold and waiters do nothing. Stood up twice to get refill. Bugs on floor.Simply a waste of time and money. Hostess playing on phone and no sense of customer service.
