Leones Mexican Grill & Panaderia

This is a cute little place to grab some Mexican food. We walked in and we're told to sit ourselves. We chose a booth not too far from the kitchen. Our server, Brenda, was very friendly and let us know it was her first day there. We ordered the crispy tacos w charro beans and the street tacos with avocado and cilantro. Two margaritas one frozen and one on the rocks. Two Don Julio shots. The food arrived pretty quickly and was fresh and hot. Although the margaritas didn't seem strong they definitely snuck up on us. You walk up to the counter to check out. While checking out, I grabbed a slice of strawberry cheesecake to go and it was delicious !!If im ever back in port lavaca, this is on my place to stop. And ty to Brenda for putting up with all the jokes. :)

Food is meh & pricey. $9 for a small dessert . They charge 10% etc for credit card. Do not recommend.

Street tacos were Devine n the beans so delicious I will definitely be going back there

Food is tasty. We have only used take out but staff is always courteous and interactive. Seems to be a family restaurant with family members working together. Hope they stay around Worth a try.
