Lazy F Guest Ranch

We've stayed here twice and both times were wonderful! The pool is great after a long day of riding, the rooms are so well kept and comfortable, and the trails are well maintained and absolutely beautiful. Our horses love it here! We will keep coming back as often as we can!

Lazy F Guest Ranch Smiley Texas April 2022Drove about 3 hours for expected riding trip based on website pictures and reviews. Reserved RV site 7 and 2 stalls for 3 nights weeks in advance. Arrived and owner said day rider parked in our rv site (requested for location and septic). He Suggested we park somewhere else and then move our trailer when day rider return. Then we checked stalls. All but two were completely full of manure and old hay. Two were reserved for owners family, per the owner. Aisle was piled with old hay and manure as well. Owner said we could clean them as they did not do that. He explained manure dries up and turns to dust so no need for them to clean. Did not even vaguely resemble picture on website except for structure.I spoke with Mr Allen and suggested he see for himself. Reply was he doesn't go out to that area and did not check conditions. Cost to stay and ride for 3 nights was to be $290. We left and drove 3 hours home If you are wanting better conditions than I describe, suggest you take trip out in advance to see if improved. If less than 1 star rating was possible, they totally earned less!
