The office is very lazy and only will take your case if everything is handed to them.I called to see about me applying for disability and I was screened. After being screened I was told somebody would contact me. Well they contacted me and told me they could not help me. So I asked why and they said I did not meet the criteria for disability.I'm blind, have kidney damage and had about 3 other things going on with me. So I hung up and said fine whatever.After finding another lawyer she was from San Antonio and after meeting with me I told her about Kathleen Day and what they told me and she said there was a lot of medical records on me that there shouldn't have been a problem. Sure enough i was awarded my disability. The only thing I can think of why they did not help was because they had to do the work. Well isn't that what you pay them 3000 dollars for that comes strait out of your back pay?...her firm is just lazy and I can not stand her commercials.Do not go to her. If I could give no stars I would.

*Kathleen Day is a wonderful person, and the staff was always patient and friendly over the phone, especially since I'm kind of a slow person and I have an intellectual disability. I really appreciate everything they have done

0 stars for this law firm. I missed my appointment due to insulin shock. I received a paper in the mail to be completed and returned in 10 days as to why I missed my appointment. I called the law firm they said don't complete it; the attorney would be handling it. I did as I was told and one day before the paper was due I was called by the law firm not the atty; and told to complete it; and drop it off at the office? Really? its late so how are they going to get around that one? worst place ever. I have had a swollen throat f each time I had spoken to my attorney and instead of saying it sounded like I had a cold I was told I sounded like I was drunk. I am not drinker; so how can an atty represent if they can't tell sick from being a drunk. horrible services from this firm.

I used Kathleen Day in 2010. I had filed disability and was denied. After hiring Kathleen Day I forwarded all paperwork to her. She handled from there and I was approved. I would give 5 stars but we had a small issue with payment after approval, but it was resolved right away.
