Latitude is a cute restaurant and the servers are nice but unfortunately my food wasn't the best. We started off with bread, crab cakes and oysters - everyone enjoyed. For main dish most of my table ordered the drum (catch of the day) or snapper and loved it but my pasta had no flavor whatsoever. It was almost as if they just boiled noodles and put them in a bowl. I had to add a side of the lemon butter caper sauce that came with the fish for more flavor. The drinks are good and the bar is fast but next time I'd get something else.

Drinks: blackberry mojito and a watermelon mojito. Both refreshing. Apps: For $2 you get a small piece a bread served with a garlic butter spread. That was a little disappointing. Either make it complimentary or serve twice as much. Entrees came with salad or soup: Tomato basil was spot on. Creamy. Flavorful. Salad with roasted garlic dressing and goat cheese was great. Salad with balsamic vinaigrette was overdressed but the tastes were pleasant. Entrees:Blackened grouper with orzo and mixed veggies. Grouper was the most amazing thing on the plate. Husband said the orzo. Tasted like Uncle Ben's. Veggies were very well seasoned. Stuffed shrimp. Perfect. Fried shrimp. Great! Lightly battered. Dessert: Sambuco chocolate mouse Yum!Key like tart also Yum! Server: started with a Z. 8/10 quiet but got the job done. I love the art for sale everywhere at the restaurant and it wasn't all too expensive. They had many affordable pieces. Place great outside and inside. Women's RR was wet on the floor. Couldn't tell if the sink was leaking or they just mopped it. But it was clean.

I love visiting this spot when I'm in town. They have a great art collection to look at and the food is always great! The fish gilroy is a must as well as their lump crab appetizer with the butter and capers. I should mention I sub my vegetable medley for sautéed spinach for a little extra charge just because I don't love the little peppers in the vegetable medley.

The service was amazing. Our server was Savanah and she took great care of us. The drinks we had were delicious. My husband had an IPA beer on her recommendation and he loved it. I had an espresso martini. Best I ever had. We had oysters Rockefeller , bacon wrapped quell and shrimp in a tampera batter and bread. Delicious. The artwork was so beautiful, it's also a gallery. You have to go if ever in the area.

Interesting venue,as it is an art gallery,a bar and restaurant.I popped in for a quick drink but did sample some local oysters which were very tasty.Large groups can be accommodated but I'm not sure if children are allowed. There is a separate dining room,so one would assume kids would be okay.Very tidy and neat establishment with pleasant and attentive staff.

We enjoyed our visit here! Jeff was our waiter and was extremely nice and he had great customer service. We're a family of four and decided to have dinner here. We recently dined at Latitude's with our family, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. My daughter, aged 8, and I decided to share the beef tenderloin tips, which were enjoyable. However, my son, aged 6, opted for the kids' chicken strips but ended up preferring my husband's tomato basil soup. Husband ordered the red snapper with orzo and veggies, which he said the fish was fantastic! Beautiful local art all over and beautiful to look at!

Delicious. Catch of day was delicious and presented beautifully. Swapped out orzo for potatoes no problem no accommodate my gluten insensitivity. Beef tenderloin tips were cooked medium rare as requested in a rich Demi glace. Crème brûlée was smooth, silky and torched at the table. Fantastic service.

This is by far, one of the best restaurants in Rockport! We have been in the area for 4 months and have been really struggling to find anywhere to go that has a nicer ambiance, with great food. We finally found it! The staff is incredible and super friendly which has also been a challenge to find. The restaurant is in the art gallery and because of it being Valentine's Day we had to be seated in the bar, but don't let that fool you! It was a great time and our friends actually said, next time they'd prefer to sit there again! Our waitress was Mary and she was incredible! A lot of people are unaware that most seafood is now farmed and it shouldn't even be sold for human consumption once you see how their raised, let along the large amounts of continuous antibiotics, growth steroids and in some cases now...good old killer vaccines are added in the mix. Most seafood is fed dog food to keep costs down. This information has been thoroughly shared by many many a fishermen, here and in Mexico. Anyways, Mary was extremely knowledgeable in this area and steered us to the wild caught seafood which was highly appreciated. All drinks were as ordered and top shelf! Try their old fashions...they make a great one, as well as a refreshing palomino. They have a pretty decent wine menu also. Since shrimping season is closed and Rockport mostly serves farmed anyways, we swayed to the wild oysters (baked and in season) and they were amazing! Lobster Thermidor was my pick and it was so delicious and cooked perfectly. The others had everything from fish to pasta and no one could stop raving about how good everything was. Prices are NOT high and extremely reasonable considering that they actually have a chef that knows how to cook! If you're looking to eat for 10.00 or less, then this isn't the place for you. You'll have to hit a McDonalds or a fast fry place . We'll be heading back there very soon and bringing as many friends as possible with us who appreciate a real great dining experience with top quality food and service!

Very attractive restaurant with lively bar scene. However, the food and service are mediocre. Menu has not changed in 10 years and the fresh fish special is always black drum. This place could be so much better.
