1st time here! Pulled in cause I was at the red light! Food was real good! Service was also good! Music in background has to go! Really need to invest in a fly fan or something to manage the flies somewhat.

The wait for the food is at least 30 minutes. The chips are stale and salsa is not good at all. I ordered fijoles preparados (cheese and brisket)And the beans were cold at the top and extremely hot at the bottom. Didnt even bother to mix them after they microwaved them. The beans were salty and had too much tomato juice. The tripitas were too crispy with nothing but oil dripping off of them. The fajita was raw and after they brought me the taco again, the meat was tender but nothing special about the taste. I wont be going back.

Great food, awesome atmosphere and best of all excellent service!! They have more variety of tacos than most other places and it is cooked the right way. This is not your ordinary tex-mex place. This are real Mexican tacos in an atmosphere that you feel you are in Mexico.

Service was extremely slow. Menus were brought to us 10 minutes after we sat down, and only after we asked for them. Another 10 minutes and waitress comes and takes our DRINK order. All flavors of Mexican sodas are available, aguas and bottled water. We also placed our food order along with our drink order since we had been staring at menu for 12 minutes. One order of 4 tripa tacos $8.00, one 12 inch quesadilla with fajita, my choice of meat, and frijoles charros preparados ( they put meat and cheese in a cup with frijoles). Very few frijoles in my cup. We waited for our food and saw people that came after us get their food, pay and leave. 4 parties came and went and we still hadn't gotten our food. Our sodas got even warmer so I asked for a cup of ice, my husband asked for one as well but waitress forgot cause 7 minutes went by and no ice. He asked a second time and with in seconds it was brought to him waitress apologized. 35 minutes after food was ordered I asked waitress what was the hold up. Her excuse was that every patron got seated almost at the same time one after the other so they were getting swamped. Theres only 12 tables 2 of them unoccupied and the 1 we sat at so 2 waitresses were taking care of 9 tables and us. Well maybe not us but everyone else around us seemed to be getting their food. Then waitress went on to say that food was being brought out in the order it was placed. BS we pointed out our order was placed before some of the other patrons then she said the quesadilla is really big and takes time to prepare. 52 minutes later , food arrived semi warm not even hot enough, and the wait was NOT worth it. And waitress only brought 2 tray/plates out with food and it's four of us. What the.... Nothing special here. Booo whoooo!! Cherry on top was having to listen to an a$$h0|€, with no clue on biking etiquette, rumble his bike right next to the dinning tables (which are outside next to small parking space). People got startled with the extremely loud rumbling pipes. Management never addressed the moron. I guess they like their patrons to $h^t in their pants while eating. So we to packed our food to go.

The place was packed on a Friday night, nothing unusual about that, most family places are. However, when the food came I understood why. The fajita was tender and cooked to perfection. Yes, the taste lived up to the aromas at this little cozy, super attractive and welcoming place. If you're like me who stays clear of Nuevo Laredo, but still remembers the appeal of sitting in an open- air restaurant enjoying good food then this place is for you. As opposed to the previous review our chips were not stale and my husband's chicken tacos were perfect along with his tripa tacos! The chocolate cake was rich and decadent, as it should be. It made a great coupling with my limonada Fresca! I loved the garden vibe of this place with its large array of pots, plants. Great food and Super Attractive family place!
