Lakeside Inn & Suites

This is the worst. The most disgusting. The most dilapidated hole of a hotel I have ever seen and I travel 95% of the time. The pics I'm adding were taken in the room they put me in. I obviously didn't stay.

The power went out for hours went to ask the front desk clerk why. He said I don't know the management turned off the power. This is the middle of summer with no a.c. is obsoletly ridiculous. Don't not stay here.

Not a very good experience. On a positive side, this motel had availability when others did not (we were on our way to Corpus Christie. And it was relatively cheap. But I cannot understand why we found out a big dead cockroach in the bed linen and dead insects in the corners of the room and a really dirty toilet. Pretty nasty.

We reserved a room for a couple of nights and due to an emergency were unable to make the trip. While booking it said 0 balance due till we checked in so we called the front desk just to let them know we that we had to cancel and the lady at the front desk was extremely rude refused to cancel and said she was gonna get her money ! So please do not patronize places that have these business tactics.

WARNING!! NEVER STAY HERE! worst place I have ever stayed. RUDE front desk. I went and bought one week here ($400) and l ended up lasting less than 24 HOURS and they refused to give me a refund. on the sign and website they state the rooms were recently remodeled... HA!!!!! LIES LIES LIES. Entering the room is like entering a 1970s horror film with all the wood paneling and dirtiness. When you walk in, the carpets are horribly stained, and i mean HORRIBLY. to the point where i didnt feel comfortable walking around bare-foot..the walls and doors have disgusting black and brown stains, (i scrubbed the doors and walls for what seemed like forever.. i would guess they hadnt been cleaned in at least 3-5 years.) not to mention some graffiti plastered on the door with a sharpie from past travelers. (L+R=LOVE...T+F=LOVE.. and some more pointless phrases. )Oh, and then when you get into the bed you'll be very surprised to see at least 20 holes in the sheets/blankets accompanied by DIRTY STAINED bedding and bath towels. I dont even think they have a laundry center here for housekeeping. (DISGUSTING).. and if you're lucky enough as I was... when your in the bathroom ( tiniest, dirtiest bathroom with missing tiles and mold on floorboards).. you will be greeted with MICE coming through the holes in the floorboard. TAKE MY WORD WHEN I TELL YOU, NEVER SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE!!!! you'd be better off sleeping in a dumpster. Im surprised there isnt more horrible reviews about this motel..
