This is an excellent restaurant in town! We came here at the suggestion of a coworker and we were not disappointed! I had the gambas y pescado dish prepared in the style of al mojo de ajo. I asked ahead of time what type of fish they use and they told me it was pollock. I was pleasantly surprised at the generous portion of seafood on my plate upon arrival and also it was delicious! I will definitely return here for a meal the next time I'm around!

Fernando Ruiz was my waiter, very professional & quick to answer my questions about the menu. I asked & received valuable advice on appetizers, alcoholic drinks, and my meal. He was able to communicate his thoughts to myself and my strictly english speaking partner. The ambience was inviting and clean, and so I felt comfortable while eating. We had a problem with a drink, and Mr. Ruiz fixed it for us with another different drink. I was attended to promptly with any request I made while we ate. Would come back and recommend 10/10

I love the filete a la plancha. The fish is always good! I order the vegetables instead of the coleslaw. They are cooked great every time. I've never had bad service.

LOVE the fish filet Rockefeller. I've tried several entrees over the years, and I've never been dissatisfied. Consistently good service and good value.

This place is very over priced when you consider the quality of there food. I order a tampiqueña plate and was very disappointed. Very bland and they gave me two fried tacos without cheese when it was supposed to be two quesadillas. They said that's what they call quesadillas. The ambiance is okay and service was okay, food was a disappointment.

After pretty much eating Mexican food every meal while traveling in Laredo, my associates and I were looking for a change and wanted some seafood. Welp, thanks to yelpers out there we stumbled on this place.This place is decent. The menu is a little eclectic... Mexican, Italian, American? So i get a little weary when there are too many selections on the menu. So since our group was going for seafood, that's what most of us had and the food was just ok. Not bad, not spectacular, and not too memorable, but just ok. The ceviche didn't have enough acid in it. It was made from fake crab and frozen shrimp. After i mixed some hot sauce and squeezed half a lime into it... it tasted better. The tostada ceviche was also very dry and needed the lime and hot sauce as well. We are pretty close to Mexico and we were hoping for some authentic Mexican-style ceviche and were sorely disappointed :( Hopefully it was just because we were there on an off night?Someone had the mahi and they liked it, along with the teriyaki chicken. I also had the coconut shrimp appetizer which was good, but also seemed like it was defrosted . The drink specials are pretty good. All in all decent. But not amazing... sorry

Enjoyed returning to La Roca!I had the fried shrimp lunch special. My wife had the fish. Good food, good portions, good service and good prices. I will return when I come back to Laredo.

I ordered Garlic shrimp.......the shrimp was soggy like if it was sitting for a while and cold ......did not tell them to take it back just left the plate ....paid for my meal and left ....this is the second time I get poor quality food there not going back ......I don't recommend this restaurant.....

I love to come here when I want seafood. They serve a variety of dishes (seafood,italian, sushi, and steaks). My favorite plate is the fish and shrimp a la roca feller. The creamy spinach sauce poured over the fish and shrimp gives it an amazing taste. All the flavors are harmonious! Try it out and taste for yourselves!

Ordered the seafood platter for $17 and received plain unseasoned food! The order was to-go and received "salsas" that were pre-packaged hot sauce packets. Very disappointing. Customer service was really good but the food was a big let down. The rice was unseasoned, the shrimp and fish filets were unseasoned, even the fried fish and shrimp portions were unseasoned. Overall disappointed.
