La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Corpus Christi North

My wife and I checked in for an overnight stay. We immediately checked out and moved across the street. This place is dirty and unkempt. We have stayed at plenty of La Quintas from here to Arizona. This location is probably the worst.

We came to Corpus for just one night and chose here for the lower price. This is an older establishment. We've stayed at La Quinta's many times before and have always been pleased. I would say the biggest disappointment was the lack of cleanliness. It was comfortable enough and had all the extras you need like hair dryer, coffee and toiletries.

I did not expect this to be a motel when we arrived, but it most definitely was. We got the Deluxe Suite, so that we'd have more room. The couch had holes throughout it and the walls were very dirty. The toilet barely flushes, and the walls are very thin so you can hear everything going on outside. Other than that, it is on the nicer side of motels. It has a modern look to it compared to most motels and it was fairly clean! I wouldn't recommend this for families to stay at. There were also Earwick bugs in the room! Gross! Very cheap prices though!

I don't know why the rating is so low for this location... I've stayed here twice and enjoyed my stay.The staff is very nice and friendly, the rooms were clean, didn't stink, fresh clean bedding. I left for the day and came back to clean towels even though I only used 2 of the 4 bath towels.No bugs, no mice, It's quite and in a great location, you even get 15% discount at Denny's (now that place won't get 5 stars) The shower head is low, I'm 5'3" and my head is about an inch from touching it, but the pressure is great. I'm going to be flying back to Texas a few more times and will be staying here.

I stayed here for business 2 nights. Nothing spectacular about this hotel. The first room I stayed in had a mouse in it they changed it no argument the second room had a drip drip noise all night long. The second night was better but I was still creeped out.

Needed a place to stay for a short trip to Corpus. This hotel had decent reviews and a good price point so I booked. The photos are a little deceiving... well no really deceiving. The grass surrounding the hotel was severely overgrown. Upon arrival inside the lobby there was already a musty odor, which is understandable if it is an older building. I checked in through the app and it advised that my keys would be ready when I got there. I asked the clerk and he had no idea that you could even do that through the app. Got to the room and it wasn't the cleanest. The toilet seat in the bathroom had a piece missing & the back lid was plastic and seemed to be oversized. When I booked the room, I knew that there would be a hair dryer so I didn't pack mine. Well when I went to use it, it didn't work, at all. So I tried to call the front desk and no one ever picked up. I was pressed for time so I just went out to the closest cvs and bought one. I would not recommend booking this "hotel" more like a motel, unless you just need a place to sleep and then LEAVE! It felt very unsafe also, the door locks didn't seem like they could prevent anyone from breaking in. The only good thing about my stay is that the staff was very friendly.

Hotel was nice and the lady who checked us in was very nice. Unfortunately, whoever came to my room in The morning was an ugly and evil person. My coworker asked her if we could get a late checkout, which she agreed to. At 11:08 (checkout is 11:00) she came beating on the door and once I opened it she barged in to the room and told us to get out this instant or she was going to call the police, using an unprofessional amount of profanity. I told her to go ahead and call them while we packed up. Once we got everything loaded up, the police arrived and asked what happened and i told them. They agreed, after talking to her, that she was extremely unprofessional even with them. She said her name was Heather.

The room was so dirty. The breakfast was minimal. The area is shady. Unsafe to go out at night. Unfortunately I had already paid for 3 rooms for 2 nights ahead of time but never again.

Made a reservation a month + with advance and after hours of driving when my parents arrived they checked in and walked into a messy and dirty room. My parents cancelled and they made no attempt to accommodate them they just cancelled and have yet to complete a refund. This was very unprofessional and unacceptable, DO NO BOOK here. They would refuse to give a refund for their inconvenience and they still had the balls to say "we didn't have to give you a refund for the night stayed but we did anyway" which left me flabbergasted because my parents DID NOT STAY. We are still currently fighting for the second reservation my parents made because we had two made and have yet to received a refund. Incompetent and rude place and people

Disgusting doesn't even cover our stay. We traveled with two other families and we all were disgusted by this hotel! If your traveling with family I do not recommend this hotel! My family got the SUITE since we have three kids and our room had a sofa sleeper we couldn't tell if someone had been murdered on that sleeper or if it was pulled out of the trash! It was plain disgusting our restroom had what we think was a bleach smell it was so strong our nose and eyes would burn! Stains were all over the walls some lamps didn't work, the phone to call front desk didn't even work! The bleach smell lasted our entire stay it was not normal we tried calling around to book elsewhere but everything was BOOKED we live five ours away so we had to stay and it was awful. We are extremely disappointed and beyond disgusted! Please DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! Second room: dead roaches were found near the beds and restroom area, Third Room: TV didn't work, phone didn't work and towels appeared dirty and there wasn't even a dead bolt! This hotel needs to shut down and fix everything wrong with it. After spending hours on the beach with kids this is not the hotel you want to stay at after a long day!
