La Quinta by Wyndham Karnes City - Kenedy

Come here for the huge clean rooms and comfy beds but stay for the extra great service and extras!! Cold breakfast starts at 3am, hot at 4am and great happy hour Monday-Thursday with free food and drinks. Today's was a huge made-from-scratch lasagna, garlic bread and salad. I wish all hotel experiences were this great. I travel non stop in oil and gas and this is my favorite hotel!

The hotel was built in January 2015. So, for a 6 month old hotel, still looks brand new (as it should)!Our room was very nice, just as you see in the pictures. Everything was clean and tidy. The TV actually has a guide! No more channel up/down like the "old" days.If you need a good hotel with kind staff, this place fits the bill. Oh! The best perk is that they allow dogs without any deposit or fees. Our two (Chihuahua and Labrador) were on their best behavior, as we expected, and the staff was very kind towards them. They also have a little mini-store that has snacks and drinks for late night cravings at NORMAL prices. Two bags of chips for ~$2. Sounds as it should be right?We were in town for a wedding (6/20/15) but if we need to return to Karnes City, this is where we'll stay.

Wish I could go lower than a one starVery un professional worst customer service I've ever had , I checked into hotel at 07:00 was working nights, front desk Employee checked me and told me he would not charge me for checking in early because I was checking out at 3 pm the same day. My folio showed checking in Tuesday and checking out Wednesday , I received a knock on my door at 09:00 by housekeeping and another by the manager telling me that I'd have to check out at 11:00 or pay another day, that he person that checked me in had made a mistake, wow leas than 2 hrs sleep because they made a mistake and I'd have pay for another day if I stayed past 11:00 am , I told them them I wasn't going to pay for a mistake made by one of the employees that checked me in, I told them I wanted a refund and was going to check out the manager then told me because I stayed I. The room I had to pay and if I didn't pay for another night if I stayed past 11:00 she was going to call the police , very un professional for a hotel Chain La Quinta by Wyndham karnes city TX , I checked out before 11:00 and will never stay at this hotel again.

Staff was super nice, the hotel looks new and the rooms are very clean, Comfy beds, nice pillows, no issues with parking, very easy to find the hotel really good location, they included breakfast, continental, starts at 4 am! they have some delicious waffles, small little town, I went there for a friends party, and it was a great experience I'll definitely stay there again

Made confirmed reservations online 3 weeks in advance. When we came to check in all was fine, many rooms available, asked what floor we wanted, but when I mentioned the dog, the clerk said all the rooms that a pet could stay in were full. Since I always make the reservations in same manner and this has never occurred I asked for manager intervention. Manager, Linda Arzola, was contacted and she refused to accommodate. ​

I was given a room near the end of the hallway on the 1st floor. There is a door at the end of the hallway that goes to part of the parking lot. This door is used frequently and it is very loud from my room. Many oilfield workers use this door as early as 4am. The hotel needs to take steps to mitigate the noise from this door since it is used in this way.In the morning after my first night I asked the front desk to be relocated from this room due to the noise. The lady wrote this info on a post-it and informed me there would be an answer when I returned in the evening. That evening a different front lady had no information to give and was not aware of my request.She called a manager and I was informed that because I was leaving the next day and there were ONLY 3 spare rooms (at 8pm) that my request would not be granted. I don't find this to be very good customer service and to be poor management.I would not recommend this hotel unless you are an oilfield worker. Breakfast is served at 4am and dinner and drinks are provided, it is perfect for the workers, but a very poor hotel for anyone else.

I've been staying in La Quinta's for business and please for many years now. This is the first time I've seen complimentary dinner served. Chicken Alfredo. What a nice surprise. Plus water and juices free from the vending station. All La Quinta's need to learn from these folks.Front desk clerks were pleasant. Breakfast was the usual. Kitchen staff loaned a tray to take food to the room. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

The team at LQ Karnes City- Kenedy is fantastic. The front desk clerks Linda, Candace, Arlet, as well as the newer ones, are considerate, efficient, professional and attentive. They will make sure that you have a pleasant stay. Fresh breakfast in the mornings are carefully prepared by Becky. I stay at this LQ frequently and they are consistently great. Thanks!Danya

while I was working I stayed in room 109 and my room service was always on point every time I walked in the building Cassi had a great personality and always a smile would definitely recommend stay here!!

The lobby and our room was spotless. I was very surprised to read that the hotel is a year and a half old as it looks brand new. The front desk staff was great and expedient. I would knock off 1/2 star as the pool needed the bugs cleaned out, but when I told the front desk they immediately worked on it. The breakfast area was spotless and everything was fresh and plentiful. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. My husband was able to park his tractor trailer around back with no issues. This will definitely be my go to place when visiting in Kenedy.
