We have stayed a few times at this La Quinta location and it has never disappointed. The staff is always friendly and respectful. They go above and beyond to make your stay. The rooms are always clean. I would have given 5 stars, except the handle to our bathroom was missing. When we told the front desk, they sent building maintenance to install a new one, but unfortunately, I don't think they knew how to install it as the screws required to keep it on the door were missing. Other than that, our stays have always been pleasant.

This hotel is nice at first view, but our shower was full of mold! See pictures... The staff also did not seem to be helpful. At one point I went to ask for extra shampoo and conditioner at the front desk and the employee came from the back and when I asked her for it she told me to look for the maid down the hall and ask her to give me some. Okay? Are you not supposed to find a way to get it to me? You go down the hall to the maid and get it. Get up and serve your customers! While at breakfast, the hotel staff kept scouting the area while we were eating. Super uncomfortable! We paid our hotel room and deserve to eat a comfortable breakfast. Not good. Try another place!

Warning: long review, but must be heard!I'm first going to start with this, I am ALWAYS the first person to give a compliment or good review over a bad one, I try my best to point out when I've had great service or a nice stay somewhere, and unfortunately this is not the case.Stayed here for one night and had the worst experience ever! When we checked in we had to get ready for a wedding so didn't notice everything till we got back later that night. Main reason we stayed there was because of the indoor pool and hot tub (I just had a baby so I wasn't able to use a hot tub for a while so I was excited) well the door was lock so we asked if they wouldn't mind us using it for a bit, we would be quite, manager very rudely said no (I understand there are times it's open but no need to be rude about it)Here is where I started to have a problem.. there was an unmarked cleaning chemical left in the room with a dirty rag.. we brought it up to them, and seeing my boyfriend is a safety man and does this for a living, let her know that is against the law and it must be labeled. She tried to tell him it was an air freashener.. absolutely was not. So I was pissed off no one came to our room to remove it, or even just apologize for it. I left it alone seeing it was very late. Later when pulling the sheet back to lay down there was a GRASSHOPPER in the bed! I let the sweet young man know and he moved us to the only other available room they had, and I told him as soon as the same manager was to get there at 6am to call me so I can speak with her. NEVER HAD A CALL! While I was standing in the lobby at 5am waiting to move rooms there were several bugs crawling on the floor in the lobby. Never in my life have I seen bugs just crawling around on the floor like that. The next day my boyfriend and I had bug bites all over our legs and lower back and sides! He had pants in all night until bed time, and we did NOT have any bites on us when going to sleep! When we were checking out I informed the young lady at the desk everything that happened and she just said sorry and tried changing the subject several times. There was again no manager there and she said there would be one coming in around 1. She promised me a manager would be getting ahold of me that day (sunday) still have had no manager call me, no one ever tried to fix the problem other that the young man Mathew who moved us to a new room. Absolutely disgusted with my stay there. Hopfully the owners see this and do something about the managment there! I would not have been so mad if they would have done their job and come to the room to fix it themselves. And if the owners do see this I want to let y'all know that young man Mathew was amazing! Only reason I did not demand a refund and leave that night. He did his job beautifully and responsibly! If anything he should be up in management over the irresponsible, neglectful management there now..I've given them over a week to contact me like I was told they were going to and still nothing, all I wanted was them to take responsibility for this and apologize and nothing!

First time and last time I stay here. Walls are thin. I could here everything Nextdoor and upstairs. The breakfast gave me the runs all day that day I ate it. I have over ten insect or flea or chigger or bed bug bites from staying there two nights. Didn't know how I got them till I realized this place allows pets. I stay at the holiday inn a lot and thought it was crappy. La Quinta in Floresville is more crappy!

I stayed here with my family for a wedding. It was a pleasant experience and if I was in Floresville again, I would stay here again.The rooms are very new and modern with a great TV, extended cable, desk, free WiFi, iron, desk, comfortable beds, and a modern bathroom. This place was so new you could still smell the paint. The beds were a little firm, but nothing that kept me up all night.The pool is indoors which is a little weird for Texas, but it is a sodium pool. There is not stinging eyes, strong chemical orders, or itchy skin. The fitness facility was way better than I thought it would be. They have everything you need in a small gym. Treadmill, recumbent bike, all in one fitness gym, and free weight 10 - 50. That is heavy for a hotel gym.The free breakfast was, ummm... a free breakfast. The coffee was horrible, but other than that it was the usual. Boiled eggs, microwaved egg patty, sausage, bacon, waffle station, yogurt, cereal, and instant oatmeal. It was not bad for a one-night stay. I am sure it is one of the higher priced places in the area, but it has everything you could want.

Nice basic hotel for our short stay in Floresville. Pool was closed for the weekend which was a bummer but not a major part of our plan. Staff was friendly, especially younger Hispanic man on Saturday morning. Breakfast was typical LaQuinta. Eggs, sausage make your own waffles, cereal etc. I read on Yelp someone else didn't get their room cleaned and it happened to us too. I think if "do not disturb" is on your door when the maid service passes by, they don't come back to check later, which is what has happened in every hotel I've ever stayed in before. So if you leave the hotel later in the day, please top by desk and tell them you want your room cleaned.

checked into my room on May 6 around 5 PM because my room was not ready at 3 PM. I went to bed around midnight and woke up (around 1:30 AM) to itching all over my arms. I called the front desk and the young girl offered another room because the manager was not working. I said no, changed my clothes, and left to the Holiday Inn. I filed a complaint on May 7 and received an automated email response stating, that someone will get back to me within 24-48 hours. I did not hear from the manager (Kirsten) until May 10.She said that there was no charge for my stay but I would not be compensated for the items I left behind, my doctor bill, and the Holiday Inn bill. Booked this hotel as it had the best overall rating for the area. Stayed for one night in a deluxe king room. Room had zero sound proofing to hallway noise and was not very clean-mildew in shower, stains on walls, some kind of greasy residue on nightstand and grasshoppers in room. Entire hotel smelled like natural gas and hallway smelled like smoke although it's a completely smoke free hotel. Two stars because the a/c worked great and the continental breakfast was decent.

Wanted to take grandson's who live in San Antonio to a place they could swim. Found the Floresville LaQuinta online. It was perfect. Right when the grandson's started asking "when do we get there" I said "there it is. Room was excellent, pool was warm with plenty of towels, the breakfast spectacular and the price was very competitive.Aaron sent us to Matas for lunch. It looked like the set of a 1955 movie. The food was great, service fantastic, it was packed with locals and priced right.We got home a few days later and Karen had left a message that she thought our grandson's had left something. She took the time to email me a photo. It was not theirs, so all I could do was offer a profuse thanks. To say the entire staff does a good job would be an understatement.We'll be back!
