BED BUGS!! (ZERO STARS) DO NOT STAY HERE! BED BUGS!!! We came to corpus for my sons football game. The team decided to stay here to be close to our game location. Already arriving it didn't look very nice but it was only for a night so we tried to settle in, LUCKILY I didn't unpack any of our belongings we left everything on a cart in the room and I was so thankful we did because as I laid in the bed I felt something biting me and it was BED BUGS!!! It was so disgusting to think that my baby and son were on the next bed over!! I was so disgusted it was midnight and we had a game early in the morning and already super exhausted we moved rooms and still I was not able to get comfortable because how could there not be any in another room??? The staff was not very helpful the manager offered a $47 discount which was VERY INSULTING! I didn't get a wink of sleep. This hotel is disgusting and the staff is a joke! This is literally one of the worst things that can happen to guest and they don't even comp the night?? RIDICULOUS!!! I am still dealing with the bites on my leg that have now Welched up so big!! Now leaving i am so terrified if they might have traveled I have to go thru the stress of double checking all of our belongings. This whole entire stay alone ruined our trip!! I will be contacting corporate!

This is a budget hotel on the island. Good for families and people with pets. The staff is friendly and helpful. Clean hotel but furniture needs updating. Rooms are clean and free of insects. WiFi service very good. Indoor pool. Great coffee and a good spread of breakfast choices. Within walking distance of a couple restaurants and beaches are close by and easy to get to. Staff provides extra towels and toiletries as needed. Again, staff is kind and friendly. We will stay again when we visit Padre Island.

My family and I ended up staying one night here because we were too tired to drive back to San Antonio and we had a really nice experience. Clean hotel, nice room and the front desk girl Casey was especially nice and super helpful so we really appreciated her. We will stay here again.

This is by far the worst place we have ever stayed in!!! No towels!!! "We are waiting for them to dry!! No breakfast we ran out!!! "We have been really busy!!" You think it's a holiday weekend!!!! Will never stay here again!!!! Do not recommend!!!!! Employees are too busy discussing all their problems instead of working!!!! The kitchen lady was on her phone the whole time!!!!!

This is the worst place I've stayed in almost a decade. When I got here there was a wait at check in due to only 1 person working the front desk. No big deal, as all hotels are completely booked due to the state track meet this weekend. However, I was told at check in they don't clean the rooms everyday. I was asked when I would like them to come.... My stay is 4 days, you aren't going to clean my room?.... ok Covid is still a thing so I picked the 1 day I would like my room cleaned and towels replaced. That never happened! Now a little reference about my King Suite. There is 1 king bed, full bath, adjoining Livingroom with a pullout bed, sink/fridge/microwave. The bed in my room had dirty sheets (I didn't sleep on them). The lamps were stained, the walls had cracks in them, the countertop in the bathroom wasn't secured. There are splash and dirty marks all over the bathroom. The shower head was dirty and has low water pressure and I discovered the carpet was cut when I tripped over it. Now if this was it, I would understand, even when the price of this room and the accommodations didn't match, because ALL OTHER HOTELS ARE COMPLETLY BOOKED including this one. When I went down to complain about my room not being cleaned the 1 day, I was asked if my room was supposed to be cleaned? When they confirmed I was I was then asked to bring down the dirty towels to get new ones..... after I complained about that and still brought the towels down, I was told they didn't have any clean towels. The reason was because there were 6 other people in line with the same complaint. Nobody had their rooms cleaned, sheets changed, towels changed, trash taken out. NOBODY! When I asked to speak to the manager I was told they were not there and I could email if I would like so he could get back to me when he had time. I told her about the state of my room at check in and I was told, if it was a problem why didn't I say something. I asked what was she going to do, since everybody was completely booked? She said they would have taken care of it even though they were asking me to clean my own room now. I called customer care (corporate) and they told me I needed to speak with the manager, they couldn't help me. I was eventually given 2 pool towels, a floor mat, and a hand towel because they had no bath towels. Funnily enough, the man behind me in line got fresh bath towels and wash cloths. Avoid this place at all costs! Anywhere else is a better choice!

They told me i would have to pay a $250 deposit if i was paying cash for a room. I have NEVER in all my life heard such a thing. I asked why such high deposit, he said because previous customers have burned them before. Im thinking, what about me makes you think that I am someone like that... the only thing i could think of was my skin color. To assume, and inadvertently accuse someone of not being a good person is NOT good business practices. What does your previous renters have to do with me?I waited 5 minutes at the front desk before the employee even came to assist me. I dont know where he was or what he was doing, but he clearly wasnt paying attention to the lobby at 1130pm taking so long to help a customer. He did not tell me i had to pay a deposit until i said i was a local person renting a room due to a neighborhood black-out. I felt like he was trying to capitalize off my desperate need for lodging for the night. I called before i went there and the employee i spoke with said NOTHING about a deposit. I believe this hotel is racist...... and it was not very clean judging by the lobby. I DO NOT recommend ANYONE stay there

The employees here are really rude. I have a 7 month old yorkie puppy and I took her. We get a complaint about her,then they refuse to finish cleaning the room because "the dog was crying" Then,they move food that was on the counter to my bed that wasn't even there before and didn't finish cleaning up. Everything after that was ok. Then when we check out,my friend overheard them saying that the room smells and to spray it (in Spanish) but luckily my friend speaks Spanish. So my mother goes to the front office to tell them everything and she just gets told "oh okay" I wouldn't recommend staying here. The service is terrible and the employees are rude as hell.
