NOPE, Never again. I had a carne guisado plate, about $10.45The bill was $16.50 something. The cashier, a light complected, English speaking lady maybe 28-30 years old. She was charging me for the salsa, the water, the potatoes which replaced the rice and the toast. She had done this same thing before at the old location. I complained, they fixed it. And she stayed away from me. Didn't have any more trouble until today at their new location on Comal. She probably thought it was a good idea to alienate the new customers as to set a tone. I told her that she shouldn't ad live the bill. She replied, "nothing is free" with that snarky tone. I told her that over at Jalisco's two blocks away it is free. Her response, "Go To Jalisco's". She might be one of the owners, if she is Franks? wife, Dorine? or something like that. If so, and if they bought that new location like I heard, then they are looking forward to eking out a living. Jalisco's is so close, so nice, and so cheap. They did fix it up. I am guessing $15,000+. If this is a waitress, get rid of her. She will sink your business, all that money, all those improvements, all for not.

Great food. While you are in, order the corn tortillas. You will be pleasantly surprised and your taste buds will thank you for them.

No alcohol at all so Mexican Coke is what you'll get. Friendly people, nice menu. Chips come with salsa and queso, which is cool. Parrilladas are their speciality, so they have several different kinds. I had the chicken breast version and it was great. It came with rice, beans, guacamole and sour cream. A lot of food for $9. That was their special tonight--the regular price is $12. The food came out quickly and hot. Everything tasted fresh. My friend had the enchiladas rojas and they were buried under nacho cheese. Pretty thick stuff so it was tough to get to the enchiladas. Nice little place, just not as many choices as other locales. Definitely worth a try.

Nice little gem in Pearsall. Although it's a tiny town, this restaurant packed a big punch! Went for dinner with coworkers and service was quick, chips and salsa fresh and delicious and food was really tasty! I had the special and it was really flavorful! My coworkers had enchiladas and tacos Al carbon and they really enjoyed them. Well done!

The food is good, nice daily special. Tastes homemade! Good service for Pearsall standards. The guys work hard to serve you. The only issue I have had is the delay in getting your bill. This happened both times I ate there. Maybe they should set the bill down on the table when they serve your meal. Otherwise, I'd give them a 5 star.

Food was excellent. The homemade corn and flour tortillas took it over the top. Had the queso fajita skillet. Should've took a pic but ate it instead.
