This place is getting slept on! La Frontera is killing it in the taste, value and service department! I had the mole enchiladas here and it blew my mind. Yes, I'm a gringo so what do I know about authentic Hispanic food but man, the mole here blew my mind! Definitely consider stopping by if you're in the area and check it out!!

This place went from "Mediocre if you know how to order" to "OMG don't bother" in just a few months in 2022. The service is faux-friendly. They say hello, but they never remember you. The food is inconsistent: One day it's the best you've ever had, and the next time, you're wondering why you liked it so much. There isn't any decent Mexican food in Santa Fe TX.

We eat La Frontera for breakfast twice per week. The loaded burrito is really good no matter which location you get it from. The Santa Fe location is closest to my house so generally this location is the one we use the most. I only have two complaints. One is that charging more for a breakfast burrito after a certain time, is not conducive with valuing your guest. When calculating the cost of goods and determining a sales prices, time of day should have no effect on eggs and tortillas. It seems like the customer is being charged a convenience charge because they were a little later than normal. The second is with this location specifically. Every other location can roll a burrito without it crumbling or falling apart in your hands on the first bite. This location cannot. The food is really good and generally the price is okay. We will continue to eat here multiple times per week.

Man, look. I don't know where these other people were in life, trying to say this place isn't worth it. It's 5am and I looked up their schedule to know when they open (0630, btw) because this place is THAT damn good. It's super cheap (really, they have a HUGE breakfast burrito for like $3.99 full of... well, everything) and the service is always kind. Their salsa... bro... words can't define. It's incredible. Ask for the spicy green. It's great. Those who don't like the place aren't from Texas.

Online menu pricing didn't match what we were charged at the window. When I brought this to their attention, we were made to feel like con-artists who were trying to dupe them when in fact we were the ones duped.

Food is always good and reasonably priced. Service is efficient. Ambience is typical of a local mexican restaurant. Tortillas are homemade and delicious and beans are also good which I normally skip. I got the Big Papa plate with carne asada, My guest got the tacos al carbon plate. Both were really good.

DON'T EAT HERE!!! I used to go there three to four times a week for breakfast and lunch. I went there on Friday the food was alright but a little of temperature. Decided to give them another chance on 21 Sunday 2017. Once the food got to my daughter and I it was cold. I informed the manager about the parking and the cold food. She said "You don't like it don't come back!" So for your health and for your well being DON'T EAT THERE!!!!

If you want the smallest tacos in the world this is the place to go. Their other restaurants up the road in Hitchcock is the same. It my fault for being lazy and not going a little further. Helping my fellow man out there are two other Mexican restaurant on hwy 6 that isn't la frontera go to them. I've tried them all and pissed at myself that I went to this restaurant knowing I might have it happen to me again.
