La Dolce Vita Relax Lounge and Spa

Thank you Lauren at Vita Van for an awesome mani and pedi! I had the mood color changing nail polish shellac and it is awesome! The original color is a sparkly magenta when warm and then it transforms to a dark purple when cold -please see the pictures! The staff is attentive and welcoming and the place is clean, warm, and inviting as well!! I had my services 4 days ago and it still looks amazing!! Everyone should come visit! They provide nail and spa services with cute boutique items for sale!

Pretty disappointed with the spa services I received. I am from Portland and was really excited to actually get a spa experience on my visit to town this weekend. Sadly, it was worse than I get even in the cheapest salons in Chinatown, Houston, Tx.Bought two facials on groupon and also purchased two brow waxes while there for my friend and me. We waited in the waiting area for ten minutes before anyone who worked in the spa came to see customers. While waiting two groups came to buy stuff from the boutique but both left because there was no one to service them upfront. The woman who was suppose to do our facials apparently left 10 minutes before our appointment to go eat and was 15 or twenty minutes late. Then, my facial appointment, which typically takes 45 to 60 minutes was rushed to be about 30 maybe with no extractions at all. She pretty much just layered chemicals on top of my face and on top of each other over and over. Bogus. Brows:I told her I keep my brows thicker but right now they were just too thick but to not make them small... My eyebrows are way too thin for my liking and I will have to pencil them in for a while.My friend had a similarly short and near useless facial AND her eyebrows are also way too small and even smaller than mine.Not a happy camper and will not use this place again if I have the option. Bleh.

Super sweet ladies, all eager to please. Great nail services, amazing lash work and facials, beautiful fantasy tans. Conveniently located for Portlanders and even for those over the bridge in Corpus. Very comfortable environment, feels like home.

Best salon in the area for facials. If you haven't been there, you are missing lots of fun.

Had a wonderful spa package I thoroughly enjoyed. A massage and pedi/mani. You don't soak your feet like most pedicures but they use hot towels. I actually really enjoyed it. Very relaxing atmosphere.

Had a mini facial followed by application of extreme lashes. Shamira did an excellent job. It is a very clean, comfortable full service spa. She gave me excellent information about the care and maintenance of my lashes. They look great. Facial was great too. My skin looked so much better.

Purchased Groupon for Corpus location which wasn't available so had to go to Portland one. When I walked in, I thought it was a jewelry boutique- cheap jewelry everywhere- Do Terra line on the wall. I added on hot stone to massage. Experience was not calming or relaxing. The therapist kept dropping the stones and putting them in and out of hot water. Very noisy and distracting. Very disappointing- the whole environment is not spa-like. Very weird building set up.
