La Curva Taqueria

When I'm in the mood for good tacos I always go to Taqueria La Curva. The meat is fajita and the tortillas are made fresh to order with that natural corn taste to them they also do not bathe them in oil like some other places. I ordered the Tacos RB my go to here which is just fajita, queso fresco and avocado I also add the sauted onions and cilantro with their different salsas on the condiment bar. Go try them out you'll like them

Great tacos and papa asada! First time trying this place and was recommended by a local. Being from Brownsville the tacos are a bit different but these were overall delicious.

Where do I start.....there's just so many things wrong with this place.This place has been opened for so many years, but it's time it get shut down.The menu items are quite simple..but I will go one by one why this place is 1 star quality.One, the meat is not cooked to order. When you enter, you can plainly see the cook has already done the meat and simply has it in a tray waiting to fill out orders. They basically only heat up your tortilla when you make the order...which isn't bad but when you charge $10 for basically a Stripes fresh-quality made taco.... overpriced. I ordered tacos de trompo...and check the pics for the amount of grease and oil they dripped. The meat was already pre-cooked, so they weren't hot...and they dripped grease... unenjoyable. My wife had the espadas and her meat looked under seasoned, lukewarm, and were not worth their price.They also serve the traditional charro beans...but only about 2/3 full. I guess they're trying to save a few pennies on the charro beans, and make it obvious by only filling the cup up 2/3 of the way. I had a similar experience with La Curva in Mission and never returned...this location was worse. There is a taqueria literally right next to them...I recommend you check them out. La Curva needs to straighten themselves out first....

Looks intimidating at first but is it very well-kept You place the order first and then you find a table to sit down. Restrooms are very clean They also have a ready selection of salsas onions grilled onions and cilantro which you get yourself on the site you get your order tacos chattel beans and drink. They have fountain drinks or if you prefer Mexican soda.

I was starving and had just got back into town from a long drive. I saw this place had great reviews so I decided to give it a try. I showed up and they had already closed early but the manager said not to worry about it and took my order with excellent customer service. You know this place is good as soon as you walk in because of the smell. Goddamn the Fkn smell was amazing. The food was Fkn great. I'm coming back for sure.

Let me start this review off this review by saying that I didn't even want to come here. I rarely visit the RGV and when I do visit, I already have my certain food places that I have to go to. My best pal brought me here because it was HIS favorite taco place. So I get here, and right from the start, the service is awesome. The waitress even gave us her own personal hand sanitizer - talk about thoughtfulness!!!Anyways we decided to be fatties and order literally everything. Mexican soda comes in the glass bottles. Water is bottled (thank goodness). Frijoles were on point as well. I basically drank them lol.- We got two orders of 5 tacos de maiz - papa especial (no meat)- papa asada (meat)- he ordered al pastor tacos de harinaAll of the food had amazing flavor with the way they seasoned everything. The food came out really quickly as well and was fresh and tasty. I didn't even want to come here and now I love it so much. Authentic flavor. Only annoying thing was the people who kept coming to our table to sell us stuff (flowers, kids selling misc. items, musicians), but I'm not letting that deter my review!!

I love their tostadas! Tons of meat and all their tacos are delicious ! Their baked potato is also delicious

Second time visiting this location. Great tasting, well prepared food. Excellent service!!Food:Ordered carne asada tostadas with all toppings. Best selection! Tostadas were well served with plenty of meat, cheese and toppings. Flavor of carne asada was good and meat was not fatty at all which was a great plus! Different salsas were offered with our food. Free charro beans had good flavor but didnt have many beans in the serving, mostly broth. Drinks:Restaurant offered different types of sodas, and drinks. Free refills were offered for fountain drinks.Service:Great service. Drinks were ordered as soon as we walked in and sat down. Order was taken and food came out in a short amount of time. The restaurant offered free charro beans while we waited. Staff was friendly and kept checking up on us to make sure everything was going good. Will definitely continue to visit this location.

So good authentic Mexican street tacos and also fast service really recommend this place

Never fails to give excellent service and quality food. Always my go to for good eats.
