Great little Mexican food joint! Had the bacon wrapped shrimp with a side of barbacoa. Yes I'm keto this was perfect! Food was amazing, and the waitress was very accommodating . She checked on me to make sure everything was good and kept my ice tea filled!

I am always hesitant to give a place 5 stars but if I could give 4.5 this would be good. I come to corpus for work a lot and this place has hands down the best pulled chicken mini tacos I've had in south Texas (and I've tried a lot). They're consistent. I've come here for a couple of years and generally get the same waitress. Service is good. I like the salsa but I could see where some would find it too salty and peppery but that's just how I like it. This place reminds me of home cooking nothing fancy no frills

Back in town for a conference, so I stopped by La Costenita for lunch. I ordered the Texas plate, which is two cheese enchiladas, carne gasada, rice and beans. Excellent! Great food for a great price. Can't wait to stop by again when I am in Corpus Christi again for business.

I found his place by looking up Mexican food on yelp and was not disappointed! We were visiting from San Antonio and I really wanted my Mexican seafood fix before heading back home. I had the seafood soup and it really hit the spot. I believe it had shrimp, crab legs, octopus, squid, mussels, clams, and fish. Our waitress was really friendly and suggested the soup instead of my first choice which was the shrimp soup. Once we got there it started to get really packed and she took care of the whole front dinning room by herself, but was still very friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this place.

We ended up here by accident after the restaurant next door that we planned to try was closed. It was great! My husband had the special of the day which was some kind of shrimp and rice with a diablo sauce. I had the enchiladas Verde with shrimp. Both were excellent and we could have split the large portions. The price was under 10.00 each. The chips and tortillas served with the meal were some of the best I've had. It is a little off the main traffic and definitely not a 5 star building but I will give them 5 stars for food, service and friendliness.
