La Concheria Cafe

The restaurant is dark and decor is uninviting. Although there are Mexican-themed accents throughout, there is no coherence. There's an area that was or will be a mini-store, but items are just "there", unorganized.The concha was excellent! I had a cajeta and pecans- though, I hope that eventually they will use cajeta de Celaya, instead of Linares. The chilaquiles were not great. Coffee was great, but I wanted a ceramic cup; coffee and food are served in disposable ware. I commend them for using biodegradable plates.I will return for the occasional concha and the coffee...to go.

Stay away from this place. The guy who runs the counter is rude and doesn't know the meaning of customer service. Whether he's an owner or an employee, he needs training on how to speak to customers. He even had the nerve to tell me how wonderful the world would be now that Dumpster Drumpf is in charge. One has to be pretty stupid to discuss politics with a customer you've never met. Again, stay away from this place

If you want real chilaquiles with authentic salsa for chilaquiles...DO NOT COME HERE. I was disappointed of the chilaquiles they serve here. They dress the part and inside the place looks like you enter another world, but the chilaquiles ARE NOT what I expected. The chicken was shredded alright but you could squeeze water of it. The salsa was tasteless. Some people think "add tomato salsa to tortilla chips" and you got chilaquiles. Hell no!! Total waste of time and money. The cafe de olla was just coffee with piloncillo. Nothing else.

Cute little place. The conchas are excellent. Soft and tasty. I also had the cafe de olla. SO GOOD! I will absolutely be back. I look forward to them opening the drive-thru.

I'm gonna be honest, I was a bit disappointed when I got here. The food was basic for the price they had. I don't mind spending money, but at least make the food look decent and in an actual plate not a paper plate. I wouldn't have even minded the paper plate if it wasn't for the plate dripping from the bottom. The ambiance of the place was very dim and sad. Customer service was decent. Bread looked nice but was a bit dry.

Wow!! I had seen this location housed several business and I think that finally there a business worth the location. I had the hot chocolate beverage they call "Chocolate Abuelita" and the concha flavored "Chocolate Abuelita." The atmosphere is great with Mexican music playing in the background. The hot chocolate was tasty, creamy and rich and the concha reminded me of the tasty treat my mom used to buy from the neighborhood Mexican bakery. Very well worth it. During my next visit I'll try their breakfast which is served 7am-12pm.

We went yesterday and they had best conchas ever!!!!! Not to mention the live trio was FANTASTIC! Great quesadillas as well.
