.I was checking via another site to begin planning a trip for Fall '24 and came upon misguided negative reviews. We are thoroughly familiar with this area, just got back from a Family funeral @ Robstown 2 days ago. For background: This is not IN Corpus; it is b/t the tiny Bluntzer & Sandia communities, it is out-of-the-way, not isolated. The lodgings are in the old dairy facilities, from when this was a working dairy. Lodging is rustic but comfortable; with A/C, full bathrooms, etc. The grounds are a great example of Texan "Chaparral", where the coastal bend plains meet the low rolling hills of mid-South Texas. It is like a nature preserve. Think mesquite, live oaks, & huisache.I cannot imagine Beth being deceptive with her guests; this place is her life's work and shows it.Some pointers: If seeking the beach by auto, one must cross over onto the Island (Mustang/North Padre/Padre) via the JFK Causeway or the Port Aransas Ferry. This is about an hour or more from the B&B. Larger grocery stores are in Calallen/Annaville, C.C., or Robstown. There are few good restaurants nearer than 30". The major tourist attractions involve drives of 30" to 60", don't be afraid to drive.I intend to visit this Fall for second or third season doves. Some activities are expensive by nature, but are great overall values. This place is an absolute JEWEL of South Texas nature.Rick .

If I could give this so called B&B a zero rating I would. The 'cottages" and main guest house have a lot to be desired and management shows that they simply don't care what the accommodations are like for their guests as they are more concerned with implementing their rules and regulations during your stay. Be aware that wedding guests have no place here and suggest you book elsewhere for your wedding party!

Terrible wedding experience. Beth was awful to work with always with a bad attitude, hard to communicate with and even her staff hated her. Bad experience all the way around. We used all the guest houses and facilities for the event. Not worth the price. The only up side is that the facility is unique. Don't book your wedding here, you will regreat it!

Where do I start?! I was most likely a difficult bride because I left all of the details in the hands of Mrs. Beth Knolle, and I don't regret it one bit. I cannot explain in a short review how PERFECT our wedding was as well as our stay. Our accommodations, the Main Guest House, exceeded our expectations. The decor and feeling was ranch meets antique comfort and elegance. From the flowers to the cake, to the performance of our vows was magical. I cannot rave enough about the food either. Dinner was brought to our villa, served on silver platters with beautiful china. The chef delivered it himself and explained his creation so well that you craved his next dish. Beth and her husband as well as their remarkable staff have created the ultimate experience and we count the days until we can return. Thank you so much Knolle Farms, you made every one of our dreams come true for our special day.
