Kiwami Ramen

I didn't have high hopes for ramen in Laredo TX being that this area is mainly known for their Mexican food but I was proven wrong in the best way possible. The Ramen was 100% on point. Very good broth. Nice and HOT! The environment is really cool and clean and the service was really good as well. Very friendly waiter. Will definitely be back!

Let me just say, as my very in house first ramen place experience I would hands down give this place a 10/10 recommend :) The service was top notch! I came with a few of my family members and we sat at the front separated at first, once a table was unoccupied they let us switch over to that table so we could all be together. The servers were kind and would check up on us routinely to make sure we had refills on our drinks and enjoying our experience. The food was delicious! I began my meal with the Takoyaki, which was nothing short of extraordinary. These perfectly round octopus balls were crispy on the outside and delightfully soft on the inside. Each bite revealed a generous piece of tender octopus, perfectly complemented by the savory batter. The Takoyaki was drizzled with a delectable combination of tangy sauce and creamy mayonnaise, and topped with bonito flakes that added a delightful umami kick. It was the perfect start to my meal and left me eager to try more.Next I was torn between the Kiwami Aka, Miso Tonkotsu and the Spicy Curry Tonkotsu. Since I have a deep love for spicy food and Japanese Curry is always a craving. I went for the #6 the Spicy Curry Tonkotsu! The broth was rich and flavorful, simmered to perfection with a depth that spoke of hours of careful preparation. The noodles were perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of chewiness. Each component, from the tender slices of pork to the perfectly boiled egg with its slightly runny yolk, was meticulously prepared and added layers of texture and flavor to the dish. The addition of fresh green onions and bamboo shoots provided a refreshing contrast to the rich broth, making each spoonful a harmonious blend of flavors. For a second I forgot that I work a full time job, it was like time itself stopped. Finally let's talk about the ambiance, while I'm saddened to say that I wasn't able to get any pictures of the inside myself. I hope I can encourage others to go check it out for themselves. The restaurant is set up this way. When you enter you're greeted by the chefs and employees in a warm Japanese welcome. The area is clean and there is absolutely no clutter. Towards the back there is an open kitchen where you can see the chefs at their work, a small bar wall holds some ramen bowl decorations. To the right there is a small display of a wall full of lucky cats. And while I didn't use the restrooms myself, my cousins did and said it was 10/10 cleanest restroom they've seen at a restaurant. I know this review is a little long, but my experience was extraordinary. ありがとう Kiwami Ramen! For a lovely lunch experience :)

Delicious dishes, attentive service with a friendly welcoming environment. This is a place I will come back to while visiting my parents.

Good food and service. I got the veggie ramen and it was delicious. The waitress was very helpful in answering questions about the menu as it was my first time to visit.

Service was fast, waitresses were nice! The ambiance was amazing as well! Loved the food so much. I just got a pork ramen but the broth was amazing. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the area and looking for some good ramen.

Food was delicious! We will be back. If you're a garlic fan, I highly recommend the Kiwami Kuro.

Wish I could give them a better review, the only thing I was able to try (calamari) was really good My experience was not a good one due to poor serviceInitially, we were graded by a server who took our drink order and appetizer. We just needed a couple more minutes and then she brought the appetizer and said that someone else was going to take care of us. We still didn't have any drinks. Our server was on the phone all the time I could see her and I could see the owner just standing in the corner Therefore we just feel like things were gonna be delayed and we need to catch a flight so we ended up just leaving after the appetizer which was good, but my son wanted to try the Ramen I was gonna order a Poké bowl and definitely like we left with a sour taste of our experience.And don't get me wrong. The owner came and asked why were we leaving so soon I didn't feel like explaining it. I didn't wanna be rude, but we were not happy about not eating and having to leave because someone for 15 minutes didn't take our order.

Highly recommend, the food is great, it has fast service and leaves your satisfied. The scenery is great, it's such vibe! I recommend there milk tea, it's really strong in the tea side, but it's really good!

Almond milk tea tasted a bunch like that almond extract for baking(Un drinkable) had too much. Appetizer salmon carpaccio was insanely good. The Chashu fried rice was to die for and the beef hibachi was great. Both a must try. The poke ramen weird. Frown upon the service when needed for the drinks to be changed. Had a lot of servers. It's a cool nook. Hope this place can grow and thrive.

The ramen here is amazing! Service is fast. Medium noise level during lunch time.Overall good ambience. Definitely will be my new ramen place in Laredo. I got the #2 with chicken broth and shrimp wontons. Definitely look at the add ins to customize your ramen.
