This is a great little museum that is well done and gives a glimpse into the lives of the King Family. I would have given it 5 stars if there was a little more to it. But still worth the stop.

Totally rude staff, and way too many rules. You're treated like trash and a kid on a school outing. Go see for yourself. I think you'll be sorry. We were.

Small museum, but good local history. Be sure to watch the film about the family history and how the business developed. The vintage vehicles and firearms are quite interesting. Beautiful photography of ranch life in the 1940s. A little pricey for its size, but I've visited twice anyway.

Really nice museum. Interesting history of the ranch. Tour includes about a half hours worth of video and a self-guided tour.

Really a small museum. One room. I was expecting more for such a large ranch that has been around for such along time. What they did have was really interesting. Of course, no photos allowed.

Not handicapped accessible, only way upstairs is a very high, steep, open circular stairway.. Very small, not worth the money, especially when I could only see the two rooms downstairs. Very rude staff, messed up our computer reservation. Would not acknowledge our email confirmation from them, but finally accepted our credit card post.

Skip this one, seven bucks plus tax to get in, the video is more like a sales advertisement for all their diversified business, almost nothing on history. The museum itself is one room, with not a whole lot to it, and most of all they don't allow people to take pictures. So if you want to remember the museum, you have to buy their pictures.Pass it by!!!

This museum fails a basic test: does it tell an engaging story about its subject? Unfortunately the organizers are of the mindset: "Let's throw a bunch of random stuff in a room without a coherent point." The average visitor is going to learn nothing useful about the King Ranch except they seem to have some cows and horses out there, and people drove some antique cars there once. This lame presentation is a great shame because there is an extremely interesting narrative to be told about the era of the great South Texas ranches. You just won't find it here. The $7 entry fee is a complete rip-off, and the person at the cash register seems unhappy to be there. Skip this place.
