Bland. Thats the key word. Bland.salsa is basically tomato's with nothing else(I think I saw a bit of onion but I can't be sure). very bland. stale chips, cut my gum on one.beef taco was bland. no taco seasoning, basically ground beef in a stale taco shell. and where was the cheese?cheese enchiladas were bland and flavorless. chili gravy was OK.Tostada was bland and flavorless.beans and rice were bland.margaritas were extremely weak.got a to go box for most of my dinner and left it behind.

I was there for my high school reunion. The food was great. The price was good for the portion I got. The service was a bit slow because we got a big group. Great place to hang out.

Kiko's has the best cheese enchiladas I've ever had, and I have eaten at a LOT of Mexican restaurants in my 60+ years. The atmosphere is very good, they have tons of parking space, and everything has always been very clean every time I've visited. They've always been busy at lunch time but wait times have never been excessive in my experience. But even if I did have to wait a long time, their enchiladas are worth it! If you're ever in the Corpus area, Kiko's is well worth a visit. Once you try it, I would be willing to bet that you'll be back!

The one star is for the lovely and sweet ladies at the to go counter who were attentive while working a mile a minute. Thank you for your hospitality :)Unfortunately the food here is not good at all. I think the cheese on top of my trio of enchiladas was velveeta. Yikes. Everything tasted greasy, salty, and like it came from a can. I expected the enchiladas to at least have shredded beef but they came with ground beef. The salsa tasted like bland tomato water. I'm honestly shocked that this place was so busy on a Thursday night. My husband and I had stomach problems after eating the food and it made us feel sick. This is honestly the worst Mexican/Texmex we've ever had. I'm sorry but I won't be coming back here.

It's been a very long time since I stopped by this restaurant. Came in to grab some dinner with my wife. Enchiladas were great. I really enjoyed them as well as the perfect rice. The service was good. There was an issue with my wife's food, however they took care of it immediately. She requested no onions and there were onions on her enchiladas. The restaurant has a lot of space, and was very busy. Looking forward to stopping in again.

If you truly are a senior and have a small appetite, I'd avoid this restaurant like the plague. The exact same meal as is still the child's plate is $7.99 BUT, if you order the senior plate (same exact portions), you now pay &10.99! i ordered the meal, ate the cheese and could not eat the rice & beans so I paid $10.99 for 1 enchilada! Ridiculous! My daughter was here from Houston & said these prices are way too high Greedy. I'd boycott this restaurant. Out of towners, there are many other options!

It is sad that a Corpus icon has gone so far down. All because of the New owner, Kiko's Son, does not care. I have mentioned this to him several times, without change. The floors, bathrooms and overall appearance are disgusting. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like, I'm sure even more disgusting. Guess we will find another great Corpus Mexican restaurant, there are so many with great food and that care about their cleanliness. Perhaps the food inspector should do a surprise inspection and keep an eye them.

We ate at Kiko's yesterday and were shocked by the menu price hike. The special Mexican dinner went from $12.99 to $15.99 a difference of $3.00. My ladies #2 dinner went from $10.29 to $12.99 a difference of $2.70. You would think that higher prices would mean a better quality in their food...BUT IT'S THE SAME OLD CRAP THEY HAVE BEEN SERVING ALL THESE YEARS!!!!!!!!Be concerned for your pocketbook when dining here.
