If this is the south loop stop for tacos: it is heaven on earth (El Jesus would agree)! Tortillas are made by hand at 4:30am. They sit to rise while all the meats and caldos are made. Portions are phenomenal (2tacos will fill you up unless you have a Texas appetite or may simply have no will power BECAUSE these tacos are hands down worship worthy). Bean and cheese,Guisado is a must,And lastly the Gem of all Gems The Machito taco (goat and all the inners wrapped together with the intestine) this may sound nasty to everyone whoo is not worthy of Mexico's food but for the elite of Mariachi tacos eaters: this is a special one my dear connoisseurs.Kikas is top 3 in our list of ALL taco spots in USA.

The BEST menudo un Laredo! Forget menudo seasoning, this is the real deal, made from scratch and wonderful staff :) It's worth the wait for a table, since it's a little small hidden gem.

the menudo was delicious and the tacos were excellent. tortillas were the clincher. big tacos as they are loaded. will definitely go back.

This is my favorite homestyle Mexican restaurant! The staff is very friendly and inviting, and the owner is very active and checks up on customers all the time! The food is served really fast and the in-house made salsa is delicious!
