KFC

First of all, let me say that I love KFC. It's one of my favorite fast foods. We live in Alice, Texas and made the 25 minute trip to Kingsville, Texas for some KFC because we were in the mood for a pot pie. While waiting to order, we noticed that the guy that seemed to be the manage/owner was yelling at his workers so loud that he could be heard throughout the restraint. My wife and I each ordered the pot pie combo. The combo comes with a pot pie, medium drink and a cookie. Not a problem. My wife also ordered some popcorn chicken to pick at. When the order was ready, my wife was looking for the cookies. We did not get one much less two. I told her I would go get them, as I was sure that they had just forgotten to place them on the tray. My wife also asked me to get some dipping sauce for the popcorn chicken. When I arrived at the counter, I was hoping he would not serve me. I was hoping it would have been one of his workers. Well that's not how things turned out. He asked what I wanted. I informed him that we had not received our cookies ( I really did not even want to eat them). He told me that there was not any. I stated that it was on the menu and he told me how can I give them to you if there wasn't any. I again informed him that I had paid for the combo and did not receive everything thinking he should offer some refund or something substituted for the cookie. He pretty much said tuff s@$t. As I was leaving, I asked for some dipping sauce, and he gave me two sauces. As I was walking away, he stated that is for you cookies. REALLY????My wife usually gets after me for making a scene, so I just walked away. The food was good, the girl that helped me was good as well as she was helpful. The manager/owner by the name Basio or something was horrible and if it weren't for my wife, we would have had a conversation that would have probably ended with me being escorted out. Needless to say, I will not be back to this establishment. Then again, I might just go back without my wife. I would really like to TALK with him about his manners. I gave one star and I felt this was generous.

They extend a generous military/first responder discount!! The drive through was fast and my kiddos enjoyed the food.

I have had terrible experience with this particular KFC in the past. I go to this KFC at the most once a year to see if anything has changed and I am usually disappointed. However, I was pleasantly surprised today. I am overjoyed that this KFC has new management. This guy greeted me immediately and was super friendly at the drive through window. He asked me how I was doing and if I needed anything, any extra napkins etc. I was thrilled to see his badge said general Manger. My food was hot, and fast. My order was actually complete for once. You would think it would be easy to remember to put a cookie on a bag but let me tell you, the last guy had a hell of a time with that. I will be telling my colleagues at the university that the KFC is good again. I use to drive by this KFC and see an empty parking lot during the lunch hour, but couldn't find a parking spot at Popeyes just down the road. That really spoke volumes about the quality of food and service. Keep up the good work and that will change. Thank you for putting in new management!

First time ever that a KFC biscuit was so hard that it crunched!!! The chicken was over cooked and tasteless. It will be a long time before I dine there again!!!

The Tuesday Special was awful with exception of the biscuits and mashed potatoes & gravy which we added because it was not included. The chicken was very greasy!!! Smaller pieces and too many legs.

Just grabbed a couple chicken wraps (Mac n cheese / spicy slaw) - they were Amazing! Thank You!

When I arrived at KFC a young man came run to open the door for me... A when I got inside he was so polite... He did everything I ask... I'll be going back for sure

Food takes ridiculously long for them to get it out to you. Example, 630 pm, a normal time for dinner. It was almost like they weren't prepared for anyone to come in. They had no chicken tenders ready to go, not even being cooked. We waited 20 minutes for our meals. This is a fast food place. They have the worst service/speed than any fast food place I've ever been to. The other time I've been here was on a Sunday. We waited 25 minutes for our meal which we ordered to go. Simply pathetic for a fast food restaurant.
