We had our AC Units replaced by KenAir a few years ago and have had nothing but trouble since. We call them out, and never come when they promise, but eventually they show up. "It needs Freon". Is ALWAYS the first thing they tell us. ALWAYS NEEDS FREON. No leak or anything, but somehow, Freon is the problem initially. When we call him back again that the problem persists, then they will come mess with the thermostat. They ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS have to come back a 2nd time. They even told us last year that our unit needed to be replaced. Not even 5 years old but it needs to be replaced. Until they realize its their own installation and its under warrantee. I am sick of dealing with people who make a living by taking advantage of people. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE if you want to resolve your problems with your AC/Heating. These people like to become part of your home fixtures after awhile. So sick of incompetence.

Called Ken-Air to come out to fix our A/C unit after we found the drain pan overflowing. They came and notified us that the drain line was clogged and that they had to clear it. 30 days later, we found the drain pan was overflowing again. We called Ken-Air to come out. They came out and cleared the drain line again and charged us more the second time. When I called to complain about the charge as they hadn't fixed the problem correctly the first time, I was told that it was because it had been more than 30 days (31 days to be exact). When I tried to explain that the pan would not be overflowing if they had corrected it the first time, the lady told me that she didn't have to listen to me and hung up. After looking back at my records, I realized that I had called them within 30 days. They did not come out to service it until 2 days later. The lady then proceeded to tell me that she didn't know why I was arguing the 30 days because she had never mentioned anything about 30 days. As if I imagined that conversation. At that point, some male started screaming in the background for me to wait until he got to his phone. He then proceeded to pick up the phone and start screaming at me. He eventually cursed at me and told me never to call them again. When my husband came home and found out that I had been treated that way, he proceeded to call them. He was treated with the same aggressive tone while he was just trying to resolve the matter. Very poor customer service and am horrified that any business would treat their customers this way. And even more horrified that any male would speak to a female customer in such a way.

I worked 1 day at this company and got talk to like a dog and cursed at. I saw unsatisfactory work and things not done up to code and not reported when repairs were made! Then made to wait for them to mail me a check for 1 days payfor no telling how long. Technicians are a company's back bone, and this man spits on them!! All I did was ask if the tech I was riding with the first week could pick me up in the morning and the owner decided to curse me out, and tell me he doesn't f around. Hello, new guy here , maybe I should be explained to like a human how things work around there. I just moved to the area and passed on two other opportunities for same day hire and waited a week to start only to be treated like trash!!! I have 12 years experience in HVAC, and 5 plumbing experience, and I'vll tell you right now that kenair is low class Individuals.

20 minute service call, $39 thermostat replacement marked up to $145 total bill $240 I'm in the wrong business. 2 stars were for the quick response. I should have read the yelp reviews they are correct. Lesson learned, but I tried to give a local company a chance. Shame on me.

Bad customer service Sue Ann is very rude and the "manager" Ruben as well. Horrible people skills Horrible Customer service!!! Having issues with a brand new unit in our brand new home just built a couple of years ago. Confirmed my appointment Friday for Wednesday morning had a missed call due to being at work so Because I missed my call they basically cancelled my confirmed appointment even though I had my husband home for this confirmed appointment. As I called back she was soooo rude. How many times should you have to confirm a confirmed appointment. BAD BUSINESS!!!! They obviously installed my unit wrong or did something wrong and don't want to own up to their mistake! I did not have luxury of hiring this company they were contracted with the company we paid to build our home. If Kingsville is out of their service area then they should have never took the job to install services in my home. I can not answer my phone at work which why I missed their 2 calls! She left me two messages as I seen I had voice mail and only took me an hour to call back not 2!!! Either way still not receiving a 5 star rating from us for sure!!! She or her so called "Manager" should have never talk to me that way I am very surprised they even have as many good reviews that they do have being soo rude and disrespectful to their customers.

Sue Ann the person that answers the phone has to be the rudest person. She's full of attitude. She gives the company a bad name.
