K-2 Steak House

Stopped here for lunch with coworkers. I'm so glad we did. The steak had a wonderful seasoning and was cooked perfectly!!They have a great salad bar too. And our waitress was very attentive and friendly.Skip the fries though, they weren't great. Save the room for the yummy veggies and mac and cheese. Oh and the delicious rolls!!

We booked K-2 for an event for 50+ people, and they did a phenomenal job taking care of us. Service was very smooth and our servers were attentive of our needs. I ordered the filet mignon with fried zucchini and skillet potatoes. The filet mignon was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The sides were slightly lacking in flavor, and the potatoes were too mushy for my liking. The cake slices were huge and will definitely fill up that extra room for dessert.

Let's start with, this is my kind of place. Fresh yeast tolls, a literal old-fashioned large wagon salad bar that goes for days!!! So many selections!!! Just like before covid!!!! So fresh, selections galore and just Omg!!! If you can't make the salad of your dreams, you arn't trying. Cup of Soup of the day, do not pass it up. They have lots of lunch specials to pick from. I got chicken fried steak. All deep Texas/Country recepies born from many great moms over the decades. Sheer love in every bite! Service is perfect; so nice, so friendly. The interior is just down home Texas proud.

Service was impeccable. Lots of diligent young folks working at this establishment and I was impressed. Steak was EXCEPTIONALLY tender and the salad bar was fabulous. No clue what y'all are cluckin about in the comments but I had a fabulous dinner experience! If I'm in bay city anytime soon I absolutely will be back! The fried zucchini was bomb also....

Not a good choice. At one time perhaps but the past 3 times I visited this establishment it was not good qualifying. Terrible wait staff! Food is sub par at best and forget the margaritas. Awful!!!!The decor is old and dirty. Chairs are uncomfortable.I do not recommend

We tried the roast beef and it was terrible. It had no flavor and it almost tasted like it had been boiled in water. First time we were truly disappointed. We substituted a chopped steak and it was good but I wished the brown gravy tasted more homemade and not store bought. To make things worse there was a large table next to us with a screaming child and a loud verbal argument between a couple. Wished management had gotten involved and said something. It's more sad that people don't act more civilized in public.

We stopped here for lunch yesterday, on recommendation of Family members.Parking is right out front. Menu is large. Restrooms have slippery floors.Nice waitstaff. Salads OK. Ordered the lunch-size prime rib specials. Meals were unexpectedly large, so that we put one into a go-box; then split & ate the other.Meat was very good & properly cooked. Loaded baked potato, cabbage, & frijoles a la charra were great. We'll be back, for sure !Rick .

We met family here for lunch. The service is fantastic and the food super delicious . Today was my cheat on my diet day, I had the original fried shrimp, perfectly breaded with french fries and fried okra. Fries and okra were nice and crispy and the shrimp tender not tough. The other three had the chicken fried steak. They weren't expecting such a large steak since they ordered from the lunch menu! We were all caught off guard when the waitress took our orders and then said she'd be back with our plates for the salad bar! And then while eating our salads she brought cups of the most amazing Wisconsin cheese soup!!Plus a basket of rolls!!!We have already planned to meet here again next month; I'm wearing my elastic waist pants!!!

Some of the greatest hospitality and wonderful people. Treated me like family and showed me kindness and patience. The food is always amazing when you have such good energy being put in it. Peace be upon yall!

Wonderful place. Chicken fried steak was outstanding! Problem is I had to drive 42 miles from Lake Jackson to get there but it was worth it.
