Julian Gold Inc

Julian Gold is my favorite place for clothing, accessories, cosmetics and skin care. I love their leather pieces and contemporary sophisticated designers they carry like Lafayette. I do love, love, love Lourdes Chavez. People complain about the clothing being pricey. At JG you get value for your dollar. The fashions are classic and will be stylish for years. The cosmetics at JG are the same price as the department stores, but at Julian Gold you get Janice. And, she knows her products inside and out. Another plus are the women in sales. Melba is my JG fashion consultant. She knows my size, my taste and as soon as I walk in the front door I hear this little voice on the speaker say "Melba, to the front please" and magically Melba appears. Periodically, I am invited when the Lancome consultants are in for skin care, which I enjoy and then periodic style shows are always fun. And, don't ever miss the first day of the Margarita sale.

I bought my wedding dress in January after just swinging in for a quick peek. Alice has been nothing but AMAZING during the whole process. She even put together the most beautiful Dress Reveal party for my friends and family as I had found the dress on a whim! Her attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism is perfection! I cannot say enough kind words about how special and stress free she has made the whole dress process for me. Thank you Alice! I will forever be a Julian Gold fan because of you!

I may not find everything I need or can afford there, but the service and staff always give you a reason to come back. I especially like to buy cosmetics there. Until recently Julian Gold was the only place to buy Paula Dorf makeup in Corpus Christi. Janice at the cosmetics counter goes above and beyond to take care of you. Also, if you forget the name of your favorite color, type or blend of makeup, they store all of the information for you. Very convenient.

I was in there today with my Grandmother who has dementia. As soon as we came in we were greeted and offered a drink. All of the ladies were very nice and patient with my Grandmother who loves to talk but doesn't always make much sense. The clothes are beautiful and well made but some are a little pricier than others. The true 'magic' of the shop is the amazing customer service. Thank you to Elena and all of the other ladies.

During 15 minutes in the store, not one employee spoke to me as a greeting or to assist my efforts to purchase items.
