FINALLY found my go to casual seafood joint. Prices are extremely reasonable, especially given the amount of food. I'll be eating my fried crawfish dinner for my next 3 meals!This is a counter service place, but they checked up on if the food was good, did I need anything else, etc. Service was impeccable!Ambiance is casual. They weren't very busy when I ordered my Friday lunch. *Be planned to pay in cash because they charge a 4% fee for credit cards.

Very tasty meal. The pork lomein was very good. Pork was tender and very well flavored. The sesame chicken was delicious. Corn nuggets were good as well. We will be back.

I'm going to be honest and believe me, for what it's worth! I swear, to the best of me, there is not one place that's worth eating at twice in Galveston! Although, Joe's is consistently cooking up hot, good eat'in, finger licking good food! And there are locals standing in line, even with phone line down (not their fault), waiting to order, it's not fancy, it's local and has a interesting menu, plus has fair menu pricing, great owner, with friendly employees! By far, my absolute favorite local place! And sometimes some foods can come across as a bit overly oily but say something to him about it, and trust him- he'll take care of it. Nice everything at Joe's, make a stop "coming into or going out" of Galveston!

I like their Lo Mien, it's my favorite and one of the reasons I will go there. I like the fried rice as well and they had spicy corn nuggets at one point they were so good! I'm not sure if they still have them.

I randomly stopped here and ordered fried catfish, fried shrimp, and french fries cause I was craving them and didn't know what else to do. I could've suppressed the craving for all those calories and fat, but then that wouldn't be me lol. The guy behind the counter was super friendly. I ordered and then just chopped it up with him while I waited for my food.The food itself was okay. Not bad, but not great. The styrofoam to go plate it came in had holes in the lid. At first that didn't sit right with me, but a friend told me they do that on purpose to let the steam out or something. I don't know, but I prefer my plates without holes. I may stop by again if I ever get a huge desire for cheap fried food or to ty the fried rice.

Ok, outside is a dump. COVID restrictions still hard in place. Food is amazing!!!had beef and mushroom, pork fried rice and gegrillt. The beef and mushroom was not very Asian , but such tender beef and tons of mushrooms in a great brown sauce. Pork fried rice, very Asian. Roasted chopped pork, onions, peas sesame seeds and poppy seeds with a little soy and topped with green onions. Eggroll was hot, crispy and delicious. The restrictions. Only to go. One person at a time in restaurant. Mask required. Best to call in order and pick up. It's worth it though.

Basically seafood fast food. Most menu items are fried. Food took 15 minutes to come out and was ok. The cashier seemed to be new and did not know much about the menu. There is indoor seating. Overall not bad.
