An heb with just the staples & somehuge discounts. For example avocados (med) 5 for 1$ whereas normally 70-80c each. Chicken breast 1.97$/lb vs cheapest 2.45$/lb I can find in area, but they don't have arugula, that's fine bc no one beats Trader Joe's per oz/$ anyway. Bollilos (large ones) 8 for 1$ fresh, wow. So if there's something specific u hit a lot, discount could add up, but if u want all your groceries at one place, this isn't for u.

This is the new kid in town. Joe V's is a product of HEB. They opened on Clay Rd & Fry. On my first visit they had only been opened a few days and there was a line to get in. As expected it was very crowded. I bought a few things and it didn't take very long to check out. I visited again timidly and found what I needed that HEB didn't have. The crowd was sparse and I self checked out with no waiting. There is also an overflow dirt lot to help with the larger crowds. It seems to be stocked pretty well and I will shop them again in the future.

Joe V's was much needed in this area! It's has H‑E‑B products but even cheaper then H‑E‑B. Just so you know there's a reason why they can make it cheaper. Carts are all outside it's like Aldi without the 25 cent cart machine . There's no baggers most times you will bag your own stuff just to get out faster. This place gets packed on weekends highly suggest going on a weekday. They have random sales so it's nice just to browse around . I was able to get a toddler bike that I saw on Amazon for 150 for legit $20! So don't skip on that. They have ALOT of sales on meat! It's worth going

Went on opening day(this past thursday) because I only needed a few things and it was PACKED. For good reason though, they do have some great deals/prices. I've attached pictures for deals that are going on during opening week. True to its name, it's HEB owned. So depending on what you're buying it will have HEB branding on it (like I got their Cough drops). I'm glad to see they have a sushi station at the front, and self checkout lanes (think there was about 6 of those?). Employees were really nice and attentive, and were helping to direct lines when need be. The store is bright, organized and has large aisles to easily navigate shopping carts. Oh and even with how insanely busy it was they never ran out of shopping carts. For those that have seen the actual lot that is "paved", that was completely full- so they had an overflow gravel area where people could park because it was just that busy. This isn't the closest grocery store to me, BUT it's on the way to frequent destinations of mine so I'll be going in again for sure.

Very frustrated ... went for 3rd time since they opened ... It was tolerable finding parking this morning as well as finding a grocery basket.Once you got in, you could barely get through the lanes ... So crowded, and this was before 10a this morning. They advertised Jimmy Dean Hickory Smoked Bacon for $1.97. All they had was Applewood Bacon.. not cool.Asked one of the employees, Trini, who turned out to be the main manager, if they did rainchecks - NOPE. Didn't even offer to sub out for a Hickory Smoked Product. Won't be returning to this particular Joe V's .. they don't seem to care about their shoppers.
