just ordered my husbands 80th birthday cake. Went to Janets cakery all my husband family really loved the cake.

A couple of weeks ago, I needed a birthday cake and I needed it fast to celebrate a birthday of one of my stellar employees for that afternoon. On the drive to Corpus Christi, I called Janet's Cakery and asked if they could make a Red Velvet birthday cake for 20 to 25 people with cream cheese frosting. I also asked them to decorate the cake and make it look good. Then, I had the audacity to ask, can you deliver the cake to me in downtown Corpus by 2 pm. These folks accepted the challenge and met and exceeded my expectations. Now y'all know that I am a pretty particular woman when it comes to my food and I do not toss out 5 star ratings Willy Nilly. However, I am so happy to report that Janet's Cakery delivered a delicious and beautiful cake to the office--on time. I just wished that I had remembered to take a picture of the cake, but I did not. I am giving them a 5 star rating for the outstanding service and another 5 stars because the cake was absolutely delicious. Well done, Janet Cakery! I am a fan for life!!!!Y'all know how we do, if you have a sweet tooth and you are jonesing for some cake, you better go get you some at Janet's Cakery.

I purchased a cake for my grandsons 4th birthday, I'm in CALIFORNIA, saw their website in Texas, thought I'd take a chance.. I WAS HAPPILY PLEASED WITH THIER CAKE AND CUPCAKES. Cake was delicious, cupcake soft and tasty( Kids loved them) . If you need a delicious bakery, this is the one to use, we ordered Power Rangers! It was exactly how we wanted! We will definitely keep this bakery on speed dial

Zero stars. If you notice all "good" reviews are from years ago. I went in earlier this week. And as always, month after month this place is getting worse & worse! Cookies are NEVER fresh, you're better off getting fresh cookies at the grocery store they are so much better, fresh and cheaper too. Take a peak at the back and you'll notice MOLD on ceilings. The most disgusting floors. I feel like the place is being taken over by clutter, mold, bugs & rodents. It "looks" like the company only cares about hoarding then keeping the place clean, a place where they serve food to the public. Not clean. Not worth my money anymore, or my time. Im done waiting forever in lines at Janet's cakery for old cupcakes and old cookies! How is this place still open? And other places are closed? Blows my mind

Janet's Cakery consistently delivers excellence. I've purchased cakes from here for the last 20 years and they have always been nothing short of FANTASTIC!!! If you are looking for any cakes then Janet's Cakery is where you wanna go! Add the fact that they are a family owned business and it's a done deal! Don't second guess it! Go to Janet's Cakery! Excellent cakes. Absolutely delicious! Cakes are moist, made from scratch and taste like heaven in your mouth.

I'll never in my life buy or support Janet's Cakery ever again. They're systemTerminal on two separate occasions has over charged me and yet on their side it shows up as "cancelled" they will repeatedly swipe my card putting hundreds of dollars on HOLD and tell me I'm out of luck leaving me with NO cake and NO MONEY. when I tried to explain this to the owner she rudely turned her body away from me cutting me off and said "oh well" my family and I literally used this cakery for every family birthday and occasion so it's sad to see her act this way on two separate occasions. And because it's not a bank card I'll have to file an online claim and wait weeks for that money back. Happy birthday to me I guess. It would be ZERO stars if I could.

Janet's did a beautiful job on my daughter's fourth birthday cake! Sent inspiration photos of what we liked and it came out amazing!

Great people and delicious cakes!!!! We called the day before for a birthday cake and they had it ready to go and decorated beautifully. Cake was very moist even the next day and frosting was way too good!

NEVER AGAIN. Bought a cake for my grandmas birthday. $50 for a 8 in double layer cake. The whole cake fell apart. When we went to the restaurant they even called me to the kitchen and asked me "what do you want us to do, it's falling off." I think I'll stick to making cakes with my grandma. The cake with they pink writing is from Janet's. The cake with the dolls in it were homemade and hand decorated.
