Jalisco Mexico Taqueria

I enjoy Jalisco Mexico Taqueria because the food is consistently good, the people that run the place are friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Plus they have bottomless Iced Tea, brewed fresh. The Carne Guisada was tender and flavorful. The rice and beans always perfect. No frills place with a great lunch menu.

Stopped by for a quick taco. What's the use of ordering it your way if they are just going to give you what they want. I recommend checking your order before you leave. Asked for crispy potatoe and egg taco and got this crap.

We ordered tacos and mini taco plates. The food had no flavor... We had to add salt and pepper, hot sauce to make it have sime flavor. We ordered side of guac... brown and yechy! Also, its better to pay in cash they add admin fee for using credit card ($1.90). Our bill was $24 b4 fee.

The waitress was really friendly. The food was actually pretty good. Not a lot of people are at the restaurant but I enjoyed the nice and quiet environment.

If your looking for authentic Mexican food, this is it! I make it appoint to stop in on my trips to and from McAllen. Everything I've tried is excellent! Chips are fresh and hot sauce is excellent.Usually only one waitress, but she's very attentive.Not a fancy place, but it's clean and the food is worth the stop.

What is left of the best Gorditas I've ever had. It was superb! The enchiladas were fab! The service impeccable! This has been a restaurant for over 100 year. Take the time to stop in and put a meal into the best of memory bank! Excellent !!

Fist time here. I ordered steak ranchero and the steak was paper thin and tough as leather. The ranchero sauce was super spicy i couldn't finish it. The charro bean juice tasted like water. Rice was hard. The picture of the shrimp looked like they were grilled but came out white similar to shrimp used on salads with zero flavor. Enchiladas were just cheese and grease, zero sauce on my plate. the waitress asked how everything was and I was brutally honest and she didn't even offer a discount for the horrible experience. Chips and salsa were the only good things there

This place is not good. I was hungry driving through George West and this place had mixed reviews so I decided to stop in and try it. The horchata tasted like a melted splenda milkshake. The flautas were also really nasty. They were super dry and hard, guacamole had 0 flavor, and the sour cream was in a packet. Chips and salsa were okay. The place is SO dirty and nasty + the service also sucks. This is just a bad place in every category.

Food was cold when we got. Flour tortillas were rubbery and a little raw and fake and an embarrassment to the Mexican culinary culture. Service was terrible, 2 waiters were cold and rude and cashier host was too busy answering phone to take payments. Kitchen was chaotic and dirty. I don't normally leave reviews but felt like I had to here. Should be ashamed to call themselves Jalisco anything. Do not stop until they clean up their act!

We ordered drive-thru. We called in the order since there was no speaker.The food was okay.
